Today is the day that we travel to India from Colombia! The journey from Bogota, Colombia to Delhi, India is more than 15,000 kms, so we are sharing our travel story with you to keep us occupied on this very long travel day (actually, it's 4 travel days)!
If you've been following our channel for a while, you probably know pieces of the story of how we became full time travelers and maybe even travel vloggers, but we've only shared pieces of the story in the past. While we go from Bogota airport to Cancun airport to Chicago airport to Delhi airport (it's a lot of airports!) we tell you all about our travel journey so far. Did you know we spent 2 months in Nepal and 4 months in Sri Lanka in 2021? Did you know we didn't start YouTube until we had already been traveling for 6 months and we had NO intention of travel vlogging when we first set out to travel full time? Well, now you do! And we share lots more about our story becoming full time travelers and vloggers in this travel day video :)
Although we are sad to be leaving South America, we also so excited to be going to India! This is our first time in India, and our first time flying from the us to India, and we were really afraid we wouldn't make our flight from the us to India! Chicago airport is well organized, but the layover process was really stressful because we only had a little over 2 hours. We hope you enjoy the story we share amidst the mayhem of this travel experience!

El Shekel Jadash o Nuevo Shekel es la moneda oficial de Israel y de la Autoridad Palestina. Como todo lo que existe en Israel, tambien el nombre de la moneda y su diseño esta conectado a la Torah y al Estado Sionista.Las monedas llevan sellos antiguos de epocas Biblicas y los billetes llevan dibujos mas modernos. Los retratos de Golda Meir, Moshe Sharet o Itzjak Ben Tzvi fueron cambiados por retratos de poetas y escritores.
Para los que usan a diario esta moneda, para los que estan de turistas o para el resto de amantes de Israel les quiero contar sobre sus monedas y billetes que como veran, estan escritos en Hebreo de un lado y en Arabe e Ingles del otro. Ninguna moneda y ningun billete tienen el mismo tamaño.

Cueva de Palestina, Peru
Primero visitamos el Aguajal Renacal Río Romero en Santa Elena en un tour de 3 horas, un lugar realmente espectacular, lleno de diversa flora y fauna de la región. Después de un rico almuerzo típico de la región del Alto Mayo entramos las Cuevas de Palestina donde entramos hasta una profundidad de 200m y exploramos la piedra Caliza. Para terminar el día, visitamos el naciente de Río Tioyacu donde nuestros compañeros se bañaron en el agua helada. Puedes apostar que las tres horas en coche de vuelta a Tarapoto fue silencioso ya que todos estábamos durmiendo!
We first visited River Romero in Santa Elena on a 3 hour boat tour. It's a truly spectacular place, full of diverse flora and fauna from the region. After a delicious lunch typical of the Alto Mayo region, we entered the Palestina Cave to a depth of 200m and explored the limestone rock. To finish off the day, our new friends took an icy bath in the place where the Tioyacu River is born. You can bet the three hour drive back to Tarapoto was a silent one as we were all sleeping!
A Tall Tower and Powerful Cleanse | A Humble Story Mexico City
We're in Mexico City and a great way to get a sense of the city right when you arrive is to go up the Torre Latinoamericana, which overlooks the entire city. Next we're going to the Zocalo (center plaza) to get a Limpia, or cleanse, from the traditional Aztec healers.
The healers bring the elements into the cleanse. Before the limpia begins, we're given a spritz of water to wash our hands. Then we're handed herbs at the beginning of the limpia. During the cleanse, the fire in the clay goblet burns sage and herbs that bathe us in smoke. The drums, music, dancing, and chanting fill the air of the Zocalo with sound. The healthers incorporate all the elements, water, earth, fire, and air into the limpia.
