the Emerald Pool or also called Sa Morakot is i a natural turquoise blue pond with fresh water supplied from natural streams coming down from the hills. Located in the province of Krabi in Thailand it is one of the TOP excursions in the region. In the middle of a mystical jungle you can discover two crystal-clear lakes, the picturesque Emerald Pool and the Blue Pool. During a short hike through the forest you have the opportunity to explore an intact ecosystem. Sure you will be impressed by the unique ambience of the rainforest. Here is another ordinary temple, well hidden in the middle of the rubber plantations. The local regulars come there to make merits.

We've decided to feature some of Krabi Hotels in our videos. Every Sunday we plan to check in to a different hotel. We are currently in Krabi but will keep this going as soon as travel in Thailand becomes easier.
This is our first episode in this Thailand hotels series. We checked into a place called Nattha Waree Hot Springs Resort and Spa. This hotel is located in the Nuea Khlong. The hotel grounds have their own hot springs set in a tropical landscape. You can also find other hot springs in this region.
