La mia Francigena in bikepacking - Day03 - Cella di Noceto - Pontremoli [sub ENG]
E il mostro del pellegrino è stato sconfitto. Il passo della Cisa l'ho conquistato! Altra bella tappa (caldo a parte che ha toccato i 41°) dove ho conosciuto due signori Bresciani con i quali ho fatto tipo staffetta per tutta la salita. Un po' avanti loro un po' avanti io! Ed ora siamo assieme nell'ospitale di #pontremoli che aspettiamo la coppia di ieri che è in ritardo causa guasto ad una bici e poi tutti a cena assieme a scassarci di testaroli e tortaderbi

IL BORGO DI ZOAGLI - GOLFO DEL TIGULLIO (GENOVA) ITALY
Video di Vittorio Innocente - Zoagli è un piccolo borgo incastonato tra i comuni costieri di Rapallo e Chiavari nel Golfo del Tigullio. La sua fondazione risale all'era preistorica, per la popolazione conosciuta con il nome di Liguri Tigulli. In epoca romana risulta come borgo o castellaro sulla Via Aurelia. Secondo le decisioni del Congresso di Vienna del 1814, nel 1815 venne inglobato nel Regno di Sardegna, e successivamente nel Regno d'Italia dal 1861. Costruite entrambe nel XVI secolo per difendere il borgo da eventuali attacchi da parte dei pirati, le torri Saracene di Levante e di Ponente, sono state poi successivamente modificate e ristrutturate. Quella di Levante è sede di convegni culturali e artistici, mentre quella di Ponente è stata nel Settecento annessa all'area territoriale del Castello dei conti Canevaro. La mattina del 27 dicembre 1943 il comune venne duramente bombardato e quasi completamente raso al suolo. Il municipio, la chiesa parrocchiale, l'ospedale civico e numerose case furono distrutte dalle bombe. Nel bombardamento bellico finì dilaniato anche il ponte della ferrovia causando, oltre ai numerosi morti, l'isolamento ferroviario di questa zona del levante ligure, dovuto anche all'abbattimento del ponte ferroviario di Recco. Zoagli, sin dai secoli, continua ad essere apprezzata nel mondo per la produzione di pregiati tessuti in seta. Per incentivare il turismo in continua crescita negli anni trenta, gli abitanti di Zoagli realizzarono un percorso in pietra, quasi al limite del mare, per raggiungere le calette vicino alla spiaggia centrale.
Videos Vittorio Innocente - Zoagli is a small coastal village nestled between the towns of Rapallo and Chiavari in the Gulf of Tigullio. Its foundation dates back to prehistoric times, of the population known as the Tigulli. In Roman times it is as a town or castellaro on Via Aurelia. According to the decisions of the Congress of Vienna in 1814, was incorporated in 1815 in the Kingdom of Sardinia, and later in the Kingdom of Italy since 1861. Both built in the sixteenth century to defend the village from possible attacks by pirates Saracen towers of East and West, were then subsequently modified and refurbished. That of Levante is home to cultural and artistic conventions, while the West was annexed in the eighteenth century the territorial area of the castle of the Counts Canevaro. On the morning of December 27, 1943 the town was heavily bombed and almost completely destroyed. The town hall, the parish church, the civic hospital and numerous houses were destroyed by bombs. The bombing ended the war also ravaged the railway bridge, causing, in addition to numerous deaths, the isolation of this area of the rail eastern Liguria, also due to the demolition of railway bridge in Recco. Zoagli, since the centuries, continues to be appreciated in the world for the production of fine silk fabrics. To encourage tourism continues to grow in the thirties, the people of Zoagli built a stone path, almost to the limit of the sea, to reach the bays near the main beach.

La mia Francigena in bikepacking - Day02 - Orio Litta - Cella di Noceto [sub ENG]
Seconda tappa. E anche per oggi direi ho dato!!! 98 km da Orio Litta a Cella di Noceto. Sul cammino ho conosciuto altri tre #ciclopellegrini, uno in solitaria che rincontrerò a Pontremoli ed una coppia con la quale ho fatto qualche chilometro ed ora sono anche loro qui nella comunità francescana e tra poco ceneremo assieme!
Ho incontrato anche altre persone piacevoli con le quali mi son fermato volentieri a chiacchierare. Ringrazio anche l'erborista di Fidenza che mi ha fermato avendo lui fatto la Francigena, mi pare, tre volte piu Santiago e mi ha dato dei buoni consigli e una super pozione per affrontare domani la salita della cisa!!!

The province of Pescara (Italian: provincia di Pescara; Abruzzese: pruvìngie de Pescàre) is a province in the Abruzzo region of Italy. Its provincial capital is the city Pescara, which has a population of 119,483 inhabitants. As of 2017, it has a total population of 319,936 inhabitants over an area of 1,230.33 square kilometres (475.03 sq mi). The provincial president is Antonio Zaffiri and the province contains 46 comuni.
I primi insediamenti di Pescara risalirebbero almeno al I millennio a.C. e sono legati alla città romana di Aternum, porto sull'Adriatico dell'antica Roma.[10] La sua posizione strategica ha connotato con il passare dei secoli lo sviluppo della vita economica e sociale della città, limitata dapprima alla funzione di baluardo di difesa militare del Regno di Napoli e poi, dalla seconda metà dell'Ottocento, caratterizzata da una fruttuosa attitudine ai traffici commerciali e al turismo balneare.
Pescara's first indicators of settlement date to 1500 BCE, but it is unknown which tribe first settled in the city.[5] It was conquered by the Romans in 214 BCE and remained Aternum after the city allied itself with Punic Carthaginian military commander Hannibal. The Romans developed the city and it became an important location for shipping and trade occurring between the Balkans and Rome; the Romans made the city of Pescara the capital of the Valeria region. During the barbarian raids it was almost completely destroyed, and it developed into a fishing village named Piscaria.[5]
Charles V, Holy Roman Emperor turned Piscaria into a military fort named Pescara during the sixteenth century, and Pescara survived a series of invasions from Turkish Muslims.[5] It was ruled by the Austrians for a short period of the 1700s before falling under the control of the House of Bourbon; the House of Bourbon made it a component of Abruzzo Citra. It joined the Kingdom of Italy in 1860 and was still mainly fortified and Pescara was made the capital of Abruzzo in 1927. In World War II, 78% of the city was destroyed by bombers.[5]

Fossacesia è un comune italiano di 6 302 abitanti[1] della provincia di Chieti in Abruzzo, apprezzata località balneare della Costa dei Trabocchi. Dal 2004 si fregia della Bandiera Blu. Con il recupero nel nuovo millennio delle antiche macchine adibite alla pesca, i cosiddetti Trabocchi, e la valorizzazione del tratto di litorale che da essi prende nome, Fossacesia ha ulteriormente incrementato la propria notorietà sia a livello regionale, sia nazionale. Nel territorio comunale si segnala la presenza dell'Abbazia di San Giovanni in Venere, «...una delle più importanti e grandiose abbazie d'Abruzzo»[4] del XII secolo, situata su un promontorio che si affaccia sull'Adriatico
