Jinja is in Jinja District, Busoga sub-region, in the Eastern Region of Uganda. It is approximately 81 kilometres (50 mi), by road, east of Kampala, the capital and largest city of Uganda.
It sits along the northern shores of Lake Victoria, near the source of the White Nile. The city sits at an average elevation of 1,204 metres (3,950 ft) above sea level. (Wikipedia).

River Nile is the longest river in the world with Lake Victoria as its source. The river starts its 6,500km journey to the Mediterranean Sea (Egypt) beside Jinja town (Uganda) and holds the Owen Falls Dam, the source of hydro electricity for Uganda with one other dam currently under construction.

Awesome, greatly recommended! About 15 miles in total, 3 miles floating outside the boat. They said no crocs. Well, all survived ;-)
You will not believe all this happens in Uganda- Kapeeka Industrial Park.
Uganda's most industrious place Kapeeka. This so far has about 19 operational factories as told by Ms Namara Harriet who is the General secretary to Gen Saleh. This has become a great boost to the Village's economy and financial boost to the community as it employees more than 1000 people from the area. Great skill development as well, as you will see in this video. From beginning stages to the final product to be put on the market. They make Fish nets, Cups, Plates, Pots, Tiles under Good will, etc
