Longchang City, under the jurisdiction of Sichuan Province, Neijiang City, county-level city, is located in southeastern Sichuan Province, the southern tip of Neijiang City. It covers an area of 794.41 square kilometers; it has 11 towns and 2 streets. According to the seventh census data, the resident population of Longchang was 568,900 as of November 1, 2020.
Longchang spans between 105°02´ and 105°26´ East longitude and 29°11´ and 29°32´ North latitude. It is adjacent to Rongchang District of Chongqing to the east, Luzhou City Luxian to the south, Fushun County of Zigong City and Duan District of Zigong City to the west, and Dongxing District to the north; 210 km from Chengdu City and 138 km from Chongqing City. It is a subtropical humid monsoon climate, with an average annual temperature of 17.7℃, a frost-free period of 324 days, an annual rainfall of 1000 mm, a forest coverage rate of 27.2%, and an urban air quality of 305 days that meets the national standard. The territory is fertile and rich in products, and is a national base for commercial grains, pigs, fruits and special aquatic products.
Longchang has a long history, and the history of setting up a county in the territory can be traced back to the Tang Dynasty, which is more than 1300 years ago. In the first year of Longqing of Ming Dynasty (1567 AD), the county was set up by cutting 2 miles of Luxian, 4 miles of Rongchang and 14 miles of Fushun, and was named Longchang County with Longqiao Post as the county government, which means prosperous and flourishing; it is also known as the hometown of stone pagodas in China and the city of stone culture in China. It is also the hometown of Huang Fusheng, the pioneer of the Xinhai Revolution; it has such attractions as the ancient pagodas of Longchang, Guyu Lake, and the ancient fortress of Yunding, etc. On September 22, 2020, it won the 2019 Sichuan Provincial Grain Production Harvest Cup. In this Chinese Street Food Breakfast Tour VLOG, we travel from Chengdu to visit Neijiang, all in search of the best street food around the world. We wake up bright and early to eat at a local noodle street food breakfast stall and tasted some of the most flavourful and SPICY noodles ever. We then continue to a street food market and find some amazing Sichuan street foods, they were all incredibly delicious, except the last street food. You probably won’t want to try that last street food!

If you’re visiting China as a tourist, we discovered that you really need to get outside of Chengdu or Chongqing and visit some smaller Chinese cities to try their street food and their breakfast street foods. If you come to DEEP back street food markets like this, you can find tons of stuff to eat and take photos of as well. Most of the locals are so friendly!
Chinese street food is so diverse and there are hundreds of street foods to try, so we are on a mission to taste all of them in our Street food tour series as we travel throughout China and the world in search of the best street food around the world.

We take a bus through Luzhou to the 'small' city of Chishui. The weather is getting better and we take trips to see Shizhandong Waterfall and the Red Rock Daixia Park.
Meishan, Sichuan, China
Meishan, known as Meizhou in ancient times, is a prefecture-level city in Sichuan Province. It is the hometown of Su Dongpo, the great writer of the millennium, and an important part of the national Tianfu New Area, known as the City of Thousands of Years of Poetry and Books and the First State of Humanities [4]. It has an area of 7,140 square kilometers, with two districts, Dongpo and Pengshan, and four counties, Renshou, Hongya, Danling and Qing Shen. According to the seventh census data, the resident population of Meishan City was 2955,219 as of November 1, 2020. In 2021, Meishan will achieve a regional GDP of 154.787 billion yuan.
Meishan has a rich culture and was one of the three major engraving and printing centers in China during the Song Dynasty. Among the eight great prose writers of the Tang and Song Dynasties, Meishan Su Xun, Su Shi and Su Zhe occupied three seats. During the Song Dynasty, there were 886 scholars in Meishan, known as the 800 scholars. [6]
Meishan is ecologically pleasant, located in the central subtropical humid monsoon climate zone, with four distinct seasons and a long frost-free period. The city's forest coverage rate reaches 50%, urban and rural greening coverage rate of 58.04%, the proportion of water area of the national land area of 9.5%, is a national garden city, national forest city. It has the World's Most Beautiful Table Mountain, Longevity Blessed Land, West Sichuan First Sea, Emei Half Mountain It has been rated as the top tourist destination in the Asia-Pacific region (second- and third-tier cities) and the most beautiful ecological and cultural tourism city in China.
Meishan is well located, with the main city only 60 km from Chengdu and 50 km from both Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport and Chengdu Tianfu International Airport. The bus service between Chengdu and Meishan operates with 80 trains/day. The whole area of Meishan is within the radius of Tianfu New Area, including 94 square kilometers of core area and 448 square kilometers of coordination and control area. It has been ranked among the top 5 in Sichuan for 11 consecutive years in terms of investment attraction, and the number of Fortune 500 companies is 33, ranking 2nd in Sichuan.

Street Food - Chinese Street Food - BEST SPICY Street food in China!
In this CHINESE STREET FOOD Tour of Sichuan, we traveled to the SPICIEST Sichuan city to taste and eat the best street food in China. We went to a local BREAKFAST joint and ate some very delicious Chinese Breakfast Baozi and Dumplings, and then travelled through Sichuan by bus to the next city for lunch. Here in Sichuan, this is some of the best street food around the world, and so spicy, this is DEATH level spicy in Zigong! We went to a little street food restaurant for lunch, serving up authentic Chinese recipes that you will fall in love with for sure! The local Sichuan chef’s cooking was incredibly delicious and had an amazing home-cooked style that we would go back for again and again.

This is the second day of our street food tour, after our travels from Chengdu to Neijiang, we took the bus to Zigong. When we arrived, we found a hotel quick and then set out to eat street food! In the evening, we found an ancient village famous for salt production and also famous for its SPICY CHICKEN FEET!!
If you’re traveling through China or even living in China, you really have to explore Sichuan markets and back streets! There is a lifetime worth of food to try and explore. If you visit a market or some street food areas, come with an open mind and come to chat with locals if you have a few words of mandarin. The locals are all so friendly!
Chinese street food and Chinese cuisine is so abundant and diverse that you couldn’t eat it in your whole lifetime. We consider ourselves very lucky to be able to live in Chengdu, Sichuan, eating delicious Sichuan street food and tasting new and enticing street foods almost every day.

Ziyang, a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Sichuan Province, was the county of Ziyang under Zizhou in ancient times, and was the hometown of Marshal Chen Yi, the founding father of the People's Republic of China. It is located in the middle of Sichuan Basin, adjacent to Neijiang in the south, Chengdu and Deyang in the north, Chongqing and Suining in the east, and Meishan in the west, and is the only regional central city in Sichuan Province that connects with the double core of Chengdu and Chongqing at the same time. Ziyang was established as a county in 135 BC during the Western Han Dynasty, and later as a state and county, with a history of more than 2,100 years. 35,000 years ago, the ancient Ziyang people started the history of human civilization in Sichuan.
On February 26, 1998, the State Council approved the establishment of Ziyang District, and on June 14, 2000, the State Council approved the abolition of Ziyang District and the establishment of Ziyang City at prefecture level. It now has jurisdiction over Yanjiang District, Anyue County and Lezhi County, with a total area of 5,757 square kilometers. [34] According to the data of the 7th census, the resident population of Ziyang City was 2308631 as of 00:00 on November 1, 2020.
Ziyang will fully integrate into the construction of the twin-city economic circle in the Chengdu-Chongqing region and build a demonstration area for integrated development in central Chengdu and Chongqing. In Fuling District, Chongqing City, the Fuling pickle here is very delicious. This is a quiet small city and the streets are very clean. Neijiang has not only a long history and a profound cultural background, but also beautiful natural sceneries, such as Lake Guyu, Lake Chuanshi, Lake Changsha, Lake Hulukou, River Shiban, Changsha Dam, Lake Xiannv, Cigutang Forest Park, Gaoding Village, and so on.
Like the Lake Guyu are surrouned by crooked roads; the rolling mountains stand majestically, fresh and green; in the light of the sun, ripples quivered across the surface of the lake, sparling and bright; the mysterious Gaoding Village, located at the top of Qionglong Mountain in Yuexi Town, Weiyuan County, is one of the three large villages and a paradise for urban residents.
The special dome landform created the beautiful Cigutang Forest Park. There is lush vegetation and colorful seasons. When you walk into the park, you will feel like entering a world of green bamboo.

Luzhou, Sichuan, China
Luzhou, known as Jiang Yang in ancient times, is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Sichuan Province, a regional center city in the combination of Sichuan, Chongqing, Yunnan and Qian, and a center city in the southern wing of the twin-city economic circle of Chengdu and Chongqing, an important trade and logistics center, and an important port city in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River. As of the end of December 2020, the city has 126 township political districts with an area of 12,232.34 square kilometers. According to the seventh census, the resident population of Luzhou was 4,254,149 at 00:00 on November 1, 2020. In 2021, Luzhou City achieves a regional GDP of 240.61 billion yuan.
Luzhou is a national historical and cultural city with more than 2,000 years of history and culture; the Western Han Dynasty set up the Jiang Yang Marquisate; Luzhou was established during the Datong period of Emperor Wu of Liang; Luzhou was the capital of the southwest in the Song Dynasty, and became one of the 33 commercial metropolises of the country at that time, along with Chengdu and Chongqing, in the Ming Dynasty. Luzhou has five major tourism resources, including the famous wine culture, ecological culture, red culture, historical culture and Yangtze River culture, and has 14 national 4A tourist attractions, 8 national 3A tourist attractions and 10 national 2A tourist attractions.
Luzhou is one of the seven regional central cities in Sichuan, the second largest container terminal in the middle and upper reaches of Yangtze River, the third largest air port in Sichuan, the third batch of national new-type urbanization comprehensive pilot area, cross-border e-commerce comprehensive pilot area, world-class liquor industry base, national important food industry base with famous and excellent liquor, recycling chemical base, clean energy production base, national high-performance hydraulic parts high-tech industrialization base, and one of the nine national construction machinery production bases.
Luzhou has been honored as the best example of the United Nations to improve the human living environment (Dubai Award), the top 100 prefecture-level cities in China in terms of people's livelihood development, the national health city, China's excellent tourist city, the national forest city, the national garden city, the national civilized city, the national water ecological civilization city, etc.
