Welcome to Grozny, the capital of Chechnya (Chechen Republic). The Chechen Republic is a Muslim majority autonomous republic in the North Caucasus region of Russia. Unfortunately it is better known for the conflicts of the 1990's and early 2000's, which earnt Gronzy the title of 'the most destroyed city on earth'. Despite the stigma, and the Foreign Office warnings, the Chechnya of today is much changed from the one that hit the headlines a couple of decades back. We went in to get a look at real life in Chechnya and find out what Russia's most infamous republic is really like.

In mid-January, Peter finally fell asleep with snow, and we were able to show the most beautiful Northern city in the world, wrapped in snow, from the air, in ultra-high resolution 6K. For filming, we used a new Ambassador camera Zenmuse X7 together with a new line of lenses DL, which a month ago we sent DJI for our further creativity. Since youtube does not support 6K resolution, we have increased the image to 8K, in order to unlock the full potential of the image.

The main tourist attraction in Belarus is the Brest Fortress in Brest city/must visit place in Belarus/Belarus travel vlog/Brest city Belarus travel vlog/Pakistani community in Belarus/In urdu language.
The defense of the Brest Fortress was the first major battle of Operation Barbarossa, the Axis invasion of the Soviet Union launched on 22 June 1941. The German Army attacked without warning, expecting to take Brest on the first day, using only infantry and artillery, but it took them a week, and only after two bombardments by the Luftwaffe. Many defenders were killed or captured.
Some Soviet troops managed to escape the fortress but most were trapped inside by the encircling German forces. Despite having the advantage of surprise, the attempt by the Germans to take the fortress with infantry quickly stalled with high losses: about 281 Wehrmacht soldiers died the first day in the fighting for the fortress. Fighting continued two more days. By the evening of June 24, 1941, some 368 Germans had been killed and 4,000–5,000 Red Army soldiers had been captured .On June 25 and June 26, 1941, local fighting continued mainly in the citadel. In the evening of June 26, 1941, most of the northern Kobrin fortification, except the East Fort, was captured.
Some individual soldiers and perhaps small groups of Red Army soldiers kept hiding in the fortress after the fall of the Eastern Fort. After the war graffiti were found on some fortress walls. They became iconic symbols of the defense. Two of them said
We'll die but we'll not leave the fortress
and
I'm dying but I won't surrender. Farewell, Motherland. 20.VII.41.
More than 800 hundred Muslims soldiers serve as well in fortress.
