Ang coastal road project nakita nga mokomplemento sa road development plan sa siyudad pinaagi sa pag-abli sa mga coastal areas alang sa urban renewal ingon man alang sa socio-economic activities sama sa agricultural, fishery, turismo, ug industrial development. Uban sa gikinahanglan nga imprastraktura, ang gilantaw nga Butuan economic zone makasiguro sa umaabot nga komersiyal ug industriyal nga pakiglambigit ug trabaho.
Gilantaw usab niini aron matubag ang nagkadaghang kahuot sa trapiko sa Butuan City proper subay sa Daang Maharlika ug Butuan City-Cagayan de Oro City-Iligan Road (BCIR) tungod kay magsilbi kini nga bypass/diversion o alternate road nga magdugtong sa Daang Maharlika. paingon sa Masao Port Road ug Nasipit Port nga dili moagi sa main city road.

Our BOAT BROKE in the MIDDLE of the OCEAN!!! Dinagat Islands » Surigao City » Mindanao
We want to share the WHOLE story of what happened on the M/V Vince Gabriel boat on September 25, 2022.
FYI: This was in the middle of our 10-day Mindanao Province-Hopping tour and we normally create travel videos and travel vlogs in every province we go to, so it just so happened that we we filmed this entire boat experience on the way to Surigao.
The boat ride was from San Jose, Dinagat Islands to Surigao City, the waves were so big that the outrigger was smashed by the waves, and it cracked. Eventually when the waves got bigger, the entire outrigger was completely ripped off, and we were still 30 minutes away from the shore.
Praise God, we safely made it to Surigao City port and nobody was hurt.
Special thanks to all the boat crew, all the staff, and most importantly the BOAT CAPTAIN for taking control and letting us arrive safely!

I went on vacation with my fiancee to Agusan Del Norte for a week, to celebrate her mom's birthday and meet her relatives there. We also checked out a beach resort there and ate lots of food ???? I also got to perform on stage again after around 2 years I think? Got nervous again after some time!
Had a fun vacation, and got some well-needed rest and relaxation.

The price of a plane ticket from Butuan to Manila was a bit expensive so we decided to try taking the 2go ferry to be more adventurous. We did not expect the ship to be this huge. It was actually really nice, comfortable, and a very smooth ride.

NASIPIT GINGOOG BIKEPACKING TRIP
Larry was invited to speak about Bikepacking and Hammock Camping at Unang Lantaw Hammock Festival in Gingoog City on July 15, 2022. Instead of taking the regular bus ride from Nasipit - Gingoog, we decided to put a challenge to our trip and took a 1 and half-day bikepacking ride traversing the mountainous Buenavista - Lawan-Lawan Road ending almost at the foot of Mt. Balatukan Range.
The route was 90% paved and 10% gravel. There were only a few private vehicles that we saw during that trip, we have the road to ourselves most of the time. All throughout the ride, we were amazed at how green their forest is. We were supposed to spend the night at an Elementary School in Eureka, Gingoog City but Sir Dionisio, the school principal offered his home (soo grateful).

2020 VLOG: BUTUAN CITY, Agusan del Norte - Tourist Spots (Balangay and Golden Tara)
#Vlogging my comprehensive travel guide and things you need to know about Butuan City, Agusan del Norte; history, how to get here, where to stay and budget.
In #ButuanCity, #AgusanDelNorte, I finally witnessed the actual Balangay. The Filipino word Baranggay came from the word: Balangay or Balanghai which is watercraft used by the ancient people in the Philippines for transportation and for barter and trade.
The coffin burials that led to the discovery of the boat lie 16 meters east of the boat. Similar to the inhumation in Suatan, Butuan, the coffins contain 14-15th century materials associate with remains having deformed skulls. Nine of these coffins were uncovered in a single trench but all the materials have been disturbed by the pothunters. Reports have been made of multiple burials in the coffins which unlike coffin burials in rock shelters in the Central Philippine areas, were apparently primary burials with the remains fully extended. The coffins proportionately are large, measuring approximately 3 meters.
On the other hand, Butuan National Museum is one of the historical structures in the city that houses and protects the relics discovered in the region. It also holds several objects used by the locals for their daily life such as jars, ceramic and earthenwares, hand woven clothe, and many more. Photos below are just some of items inside the museum:
THE GOLDEN TARA: Its name sounds familiar because it was once featured by Mel Tiangco in a TV program (already forgot). A Tara is a goddess from a Buddhist Pantheon while a golden tara discovered in Central Agusan is a figurine molded in gold which was discovered by a Manobo native along Wawa River. The image of the golden tara is casted in 21 carat gold, weighs almost four pounds, and measures 8 inches in height. However, it was acquired by the Americans and is now housed in the Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago, IL, US.
