AUSTRALIA TRAVEL GUIDE: 15 Things to Know Before You Go

Everything YOU need to know before you go to Australia! Including tips for getting in, getting around, what to do, where to stay, and of course what to eat! Australia is the 6th largest country in the world yet only 25 million people live here. Sydney is Australia’s biggest city with the famous opera house however Sydney isn’t the capital. Canberra is the capital of Australia and it's just a 3 hour drive south of Sydney. Swinging around to the South coast we’ve got Melbourne. Australia’s 2nd largest city with 5.1 million people. Melbourne is more artsy and funky than Sydney. In the center is the Outback… yes… where the steakhouse gets its name. Not to be confused with “the bush” with usually refers to the areas just outside of the major cities. The outback is a vast undeveloped area in the center. Mostly nature based and indingenous experiences. Some might say this is the “Real Australia”

BEST BEACHES IN SYDNEY AUSTRALIA | NORTHERN BEACHES

We have lived in Sydney for 6 years, in this time we have done a lot of exploring and been to the best beaches around. We love Australia, especially the Northern Beaches because here you will find some secluded gems, pristine nature and a lot of lush coast line.

We think these are the best beaches in Sydney Australia because they are not crowded as some of the more popular beaches, like Manly and Bondi. Here are our best beaches.

Bayview

Tucked away more towards the northern end of the coastline, this reserve offers great walks along several bays, it is a great spot to learn to paddle board and take the kayak out due to its calm waters. We love to take our pooch here for a good swim and a play with other puppies.

Long Reef

Long Reef is accessible from Dee Why beach, there is a great walk you can do from Dee Why along the Dee Why lagoon. Long Reef is a top spot for a surf, no matter your experience level. The headland walks host many great lookouts and an abundance of nature. Watching the sun set from here is a MUST. Long Reef for this reason alone is one of our best beaches in Sydney.

Curl Curl

Curly is a popular beach for surfers as it hosts some of Sydney's best waves. You can enjoy a coastal walk at either end of the beach and take in some breath taking views. There is a swimming pool to do some lengths and at the northern end a lagoon where the dogs and kids can play safely.

Turimetta

Known as Sydney's secret beach, hosting no more than a dozen people on a average day. Take a walk up the southern headland to reach a lookout where you can enjoy stunning ocean views and tree covered cliffs. This is our favourite spot to come and enjoy the sunrise, you will leave feeling recharged and will go down in the memory bank as one not to forget. p.s don't forget to explore the rock pools!!!!

Thanks for watching guys, LET US KNOW WHICH BEACHES YOU LOVE :)

Sydney travel vlog 2019 Narrabeen, Narrabeen Rock pool, Narrabeen beach, & Narrabeen Lagoon

Hi, everyone..! This is Honan.
today, a place that I want to introduce is.... Narrabeen..!

Narrabeen is very popular place to local people.
It is at the north side of Sydney, and you can do plenty of things..!

First things first..! it is a perfect place to enjoy fishing..! To be honest, I have no idea exactly as I haven't done it in my whole life, but..! one of my friends who is aussie, always go there for fishing, and also whenever there is a conversation regarding fishing, I heard Narrabeen all the times....!
(Guessing, the reasons that Narrabeen is so much popular with fishing would be there are beach and also Lagoon (lake) )

On the north side of the Narrabeen, there is a Narrabeen Rockpool, which is the biggest size in northern beaches, it is great place to go and watch a SUNRISE..!
of course you can spend your whole day for swimming at the Narrabeen Rock pool and Narrabeen beach too.

Are you enjoying jogging or walking? then you can try Narrabeen Lagoon track..! which offers you the awesome views. I cannot say about this too as I couldnt try yet, but it is around 8.4km circuit trail, and the website saying, while you walk along the trail, you can find so many different birds and wildlife..!

Hope you enjoy my video, and find any helpful info.
if you liked it, hit like button, subscribe my channel, and ring the bell..!!

Thank you guys. :)

만약 여러분께서 조깅이나 산책을 즐겨 하신다면, 나라빈 호수 산책로를 즐기셔도 될텐데요, 영어로는 Narrabeen lagoon trail 이라고 불리는 이곳은, 멋진 경관을 보여주는 산책로예요. 요기도 사실 저는 아직 걸어보질 않아서… 딱히 뭐라 할 말이 없긴 하지만… ;;

NARRABEEN LAGOON TRAIL, Sydney Northern Beaches

A tour of the Narrabeen Lagoon trail, located in Narrabeen, a suburb on the Northern Beaches of Sydney, Australia.

Read the detailed write-up on our website,

The Narrabeen Lagoon trail is an 8.5km loop with a combination of dirt, elevated walking platforms, and paved paths. Although many sections have been in place for decades, the large final pieces of the loop, the large bridges at the western end of the lagoon, were put in place in 2015.

The trail is easily accessible via public transport with the B-Line bus stop being next to the trail at Narrabeen. The trail is well maintained and is also pram friendly. It is widely regarded as one of the best walks in Sydney.
