NAROMORU TOWN is a small town located along the Nyeri-nanyuki highway and 21km from nanyuki town in central kenya.
It is mainly a market town whose major source of income is tourism from hikers who come to hike in the various adventure areas around among them being Mt Kenya.
The town's population has been growing steadily over the years owing to the rural urban migration being experienced countrywide as the youth move to urban settings to search for greener pastures.
The realestate industry is also booming here and is set to boom even more once the kennol-sagana-marua dual carriage road is complete.

The most Epic Hiking Trail to MT Kenya Naromoru Route
This video shows the hiking trail through Naromoru Rout to Mt Kenya from Met Station, through Moorland and Makindas. We have taken exclusive view starting from Naromoru, to the Gate, and from Mt Kenya Gate to Met station (for people who want to know the road condition) which was the starting point. This trail is considered the most challenging hiking trail on Mt Kenya and also, the steepest. It is usually recommended for beginners because if you can withstand this trail, it means you can withstand any other (The Mother of all Trails). The trail is friendly at the beginning and gets Rocky, Tougher, and Marshy on the way. Therefore, it is advisable for hikers to be well prepared. If you do not have all gears, you can hire at low cost, there is an office at Naromoru for MT Keya Guides. Easter weekend in A Colonial House in Narumoru Kenya
This colonial house wa built in the early 1950s and is still in a very good condition. It is located in Narumoru which is 20minutes from Nanyuki Kenya. Me and my family spent the Easter weekend here and it was an experience worth documenting.
You get to enjoy the view of Mt.Kenya, Serene environment, so much space and a lot more
It was recently opened for Airbnb and it's one of the most affordable around Nanyuki and Narumoru. It is also ideal for out door events and picnics

Mount Kenya & Nanyuki - Old Moses, The Equator, and Le Rustique
Hi Friends!
I am in Kenya at the moment visiting family. We went on a safari to Nanyuki and Loisaba. In this video I stop at Barney's at Nanyuki airstrip for lunch. We then cross the equator and go to Mount Kenya via the Sirimon Route to Old Moses. We stop on the way back to Nanyuki at the Nanyuki club for tea and then spend the night at Le Rustique in Nanyuki.

Mt. kenya trekking and hiking: Journey from Nairobi |VLOG| PART 1
#Mt.Kenya #mountkenya the highest in Kenya and the second highest in Africa, Mount Kenya stands 5199m summits include: Batian, Nelion, and Point Lenana. Despite being a strato-volcano, the peak itself gets its rugged profile from previously being covered in ice. Today, there are 11 small glaciers still on the peak.
The area surrounding the peak make up Mt Kenya National Park, well known for its unique flora and fauna. From the lowland savannah and bamboo forests the flora changes as you rise in elevation. Here you will find the unique high-altitude equatorial environment. The landscape seems as if it belongs on another planet with strange plants and misty terrain.
The approach to Mount Kenya from Nairobi involves a journey of about four hours to either the town of Naro Moru or Embu, where we can provide accommodation in a local hotel or our Guest House. Naro Moru is the base for ascents on the Sirimon, Burguret and Naro Moru routes and Embu is used for the Chogoria route.
