Caltanissetta is a comune in the central interior of Sicily, Italy, and the capital of the Province of Caltanissetta. Its inhabitants are called Nisseni.
The town lies in an area of rolling hills with small villages and towns, crossed by the river Salso. It borders on the municipalities of Canicattì, Delia, Enna, Marianopoli, Mazzarino, Mazzarino, Mussomeli, Naro, Petralia Sottana, Pietraperzia, San Cataldo, Santa Caterina Villarmosa, Serradifalco and Sommatino. Its frazioni are the villages of Bifaria, Borgo Petilia, Borgo Canicassè Casale, Cozzo di Naro, Favarella, Prestianni, Villaggio Santa Barbara, Santa Rita and Xirbi.

E' molto ricca di storia, come testimoniano i monumenti e le opere d'arte che ospita.
La sua economia è essenzialmente agricola. Da qualche anno a questa parte va incrementandosi il cosiddetto turismo di passaggio. Ciò grazie ai monumenti civili ed ecclesiastici, ai resti archeologici e alle bellezze naturali.
Nel territorio di Naro, inoltre, si trova il lago San Giovanni che dista pochi chilometri dal centro abitato ed ha ospitato tornei di canottaggio di livello europeo ed internazionale.
Naro is a town of the Free Municipal Consortium of Agrigento of just over 7,500 inhabitants.
It is very rich in history, as evidenced by the monuments and works of art it houses.

Von Lido di Jesolo ging unser Roadtrip weiter in Richtung Cinque Terre. Hier erkundeten wir im August alle 4 Dörfer an einem Tag in folgender Reihenfolge:
1. Monterosso al Mare
2. Vernazza
3. Corniglia
4. Riomaggiore
5. Manarola
Der Nationalpark Cinque Terre ist wirklich einen Besuch wert: Lass dich von unserem Video für deinen Trip inspirieren. Man kann die 5 Dörfer wie wir in einem Tag erkunden, im nachhinein würden wir aber empfehlen, sich 2 Tage Zeit zu nehmen, wenn man alle 5 Dörfer sehen uns genießen möchte.
