Top 10 Tourist Attractions in North Korea ???????? Pyongyang Travel Guide Documentary

WARNING: Some governments advise against all travel to North Korea due to the uncertain security situation caused by North Korea’s nuclear weapons development program and highly authoritarian and unpredictable regime.
Though there is little evidence of safety issues concerning tourists on organized expeditions, those planning to engage in activities that the North Korean government forbids must be prepared to face severe consequences.
Under no circumstances are you to say anything that could be perceived as an insult to or critical of Kim Il-sung, Kim Jong-Il, Kim Jong-Un, the Juche ideology, the Songun policy, the ruling Worker's Party of Korea, the North Korean government in general, or the citizens of North Korea. Simply avoid these topics if you can.

SUMMARY:
- Canadians are famous for saying sorry all the time, even when the other person is clearly in the wrong.
- Approximately 90% of Canada's land area is uninhabited. Even though it’s bigger than the US, it has only 11% of America's population!
- It's illegal for polar bears in Canada to break into houses and steal food. So, if you see one rummaging around in your fridge - call the cops!
- Canada received its own flag in 1965, almost 100 years after it became a separate country in 1867!
- One area in the Hudson Bay region has less gravity than any other region on the planet. So, if you want to jump higher and weigh less, that's the place to be!
- How about this one: Santa Claus is Canadian. That's what Canada's Immigration Minister announced in 2012.
- In 1930, Canada's hockey team did so well that they were put straight through to the final game.
- Ottawa, the capital of Canada, isn't the largest city in the country. With a population of about 1 million people, it comes second to Toronto, the capital of the Ontario province.
- In a 2018 Happiness Report, Canada was ranked #7. I mean, even despite all that cold?
- About 10% of Canadians are either vegetarians or vegans. That means 2.3 million vegetarians and 850,000 vegans. Most of these people are under 35.
- The capital city of Canada, Ottawa, is at the top of the list of the world's coldest capitals.
- The lowest ever recorded temperature in Canada was -81.4 degrees F (-63 degrees C)!
- While driving in northwest Canada, be prepared to see license plates shaped like a polar bear!
- Wood Buffalo National Park, created in 1922 to protect the largest herd of roaming Wood Bison in the world, is larger than Switzerland.
- One of the most popular dishes in Canada is poutine. Crispy fries covered with cheese curds and rich gravy.
- Canadians are some of the friendliest people in the world. You probably can’t find a rude Canadian even if you try really hard!
- Lots of Canadians speak French as their first language. And Montreal is the second largest French-speaking city in the world! After Paris, of course.

Vancouver city is ranked as one of the most liveable cities in the world and when I was moving to Canada from Australia, the one city that was on the top of my Canada bucket list, was Vancouver.

British Columbia travel is regarded as one of the most beautiful in the world and I wanted to see it in person so I decided to take a flight from Toronto to Vancouver and spend 10 days in the city. I initially wanted to do a Toronto to Vancouver road trip and then got to know that there is a Toronto to Vancouver Train as well but I did not have the time for those.

In this Vancouver vlog, you will find everything you need to know to plan your own trip to Vancouver. We talk about Vancouver transit to how to get around Vancouver with and without a car, Vancouver's top attractions, tourist spots, Vancouver day trips, things to do in Vancouver, and some useful travel tips for Vancouver.

We start our journey from downtown Vancouver and move our way towards Squamish and other places. And you will find answers to the below questions:

- What is the best month to travel in Vancouver?
- How much money do I need for a week in Vancouver?
- How expensive is Vancouver?
- What time of year is cheapest to travel to Vancouver?
- How many days in Vancouver is enough?
- What is the rainiest month in Vancouver?
- Do you need a car in Vancouver?
- Is Vancouver a walkable city?
- How much money do you need in Vancouver?
- Is Vancouver expensive for tourists?
- Some bad parts of Vancouver?

What does $75,000 to $150,000 buy in a cruising boat today? We look at 4 boats in this category!

This week we explore what you can purchase on the used boat market for $75,000 to $150,000. There are many great examples ranging in age from 16 to 25 years old. Most boats in this range are gas powered and offer space for a small family of friends to cruise to your favorite places. We look at a Searay, Carver, Rinker and Tiara. The Rinker and Searay are express style boats, the Carver is an aft cabin and the Tiara is an express boat with fishability.

We also look at the cost of owing boats in th his range.

We love the ocean and boating! We cruise in our 2001 Sea Ray 400 Sedan Bridge, Calypso II, on the South Coast of Massachusetts and Cape Cod and the Islands. Join us on our adventures - we share favorite ports and places to visit, favorite boating products, and how-tos.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

+ Our current boat - Calypso II, a 2001 Sea Ray 400 Sedan Bridge:

In 2019, we wanted a new boat that was bigger and had a longer range, so we targeted 40-footers with diesel power to achieve both of these goals. With our criteria and budget, we searched for a diesel-powered Sea Ray 400 Sedanbridge 2001 or newer. After scouring the Internet we found a boat on the Chesapeake Bay which would become Calypso II.

+ Specs - 2001 Sea Ray 400 Sedan Bridge:

• Length: 40 feet
• Beam: 14 feet
• Draft: 4 feet
• Fuel: diesel 350 gal
• Power: 2 Caterpillar 3126 inboard straight-shaft turbocharged diesel engines 350hp each

---------------------------------------------------------------------
+ Dinghy

2021 North Atlantic Inflatables, 9 8 Aluminum RIB
Tohatsu 8Hp outboard motor

---------------------------------------------------------------------

+ Where we cruise:

Calypso II is moored in Sippican Harbor in Marion, MA - in Buzzards Bay. We use our boat to explore the islands, ports, coves, and harbors of this amazing place.

For overnight boating, we often head to Cuttyhunk Island, Martha’s Vineyard Island or Nantucket Island, off the coast of Massachusetts. In 2021, we plan to head to Maine to explore some of the beautiful harbors and ports of Southern and Mid-Coast Maine.

---------------------------------------------------------------------
+ Our commitment to the sea:

Because we enjoy boating and the fun it brings our family, we are committed to protecting the bays, harbors, and oceans we cruise on, as well as the ones we dream about. Starting with following no-discharge rules, not using disposable plastic bottles, and only using biodegradable products on Calypso II, we try to do our part to preserve this invaluable resource.

PARKSVILLE & QUALICUM BEACH, BC | Visiting Beaches + Provincial Parks on Vancouver Island

Come join us for a rainy travel day on Vancouver Island, BC as we continue our road trip to Parksville and Qualicum Beach to visit Rathtrevor Beach Provincial Park and Englishman River Falls Provincial Park.

After a quick stop at Qualicum Beach, we drove towards Rathtrevor Beach, which is a provincial park located in the east end of Parksville. This spot is known for its wide sandy beaches - especially during low tide when the water recedes almost a kilometre from shore! It was pretty cool to see.

And now: bunnies! Just as we were leaving the park we spotted what we thought was one lone black rabbit looking out of place, but as we rounded the corner, we discovered it was a whole colony! They were very cute.

Then it was onwards to Englishman River Regional Park where we went in search of the two waterfalls. Well, I’m not sure we took the right trail since we never did find them, but who can complain about wandering the wrong way in a forest when you’re surrounded by towering cedars, Douglas firs, and ferns all around.

After a wet and rainy day of exploring we built up a big appetite so we ended up frying up some cod in butter and serving it with sweet potatoes and carrots along with some delicious wine from Chile.

We hope you enjoyed our BC road trip episode to Parksville and Qualicum Beach. Stay tuned as we have three more episodes from our Vancouver Island, BC series left with adventures from Campbell River, Nanaimo and Victoria coming your way.

PARKSVILLE & QUALICUM BEACH, BC | Visiting Beaches + Provincial Parks on Vancouver Island:

Come join us for an epic road trip to Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada where partner with Trover to cover the island from the south all the way up to the north. Unlike most Vancouver Island road trips and travel series which focus on the triangle of Vancouver, Nanaimo and Tofino, we branch off and visit lesser-known places such as Gold River, Port Alice and Malcolm Island just to name a few.

Our trip to Vancouver Island starts off with a flight from Toronto to Vancouver, followed by the shortest flight of our lives from Vancouver to Victoria. From Victoria, we head to our base of Mount Washington in the central part of the island, where highlights include spotting black bears, hiking in Mount Washington and visiting vineyards in Comox.

Our journey then continues to Gold River, Sam's hometown, where we board the Uchuck III en route to Friendly Cove. We also go to nearby Campbell River where we walk along a beautiful fishing dock, tour a hatchery and come across a black bear, and hike in Elk Falls which was our favourite hike on this entire journey.

Heading to northern Vancouver Island, we base ourselves in Port Alice and visit the nearby towns of Port McNeill, Port Hardy and Telegraph Cove. For separate day trips, we take the ferry to Malcolm Island where we visit the former Finnish Community of Sointula and take another ferry to Alert Bay where we have the opportunity to appreciate First Nations totem poles, artwork and museums.

Our Vancouver Island road trip concludes with visits to Parksville, Nanaimo and Victoria. Overall, it was one of the best road trips we've ever done focusing mostly on nature, outdoor adventure, wildlife spotting and visiting off-the-beaten-path villages and communities that have a lot to offer but aren't that well known.

The Victoria Public Market is inside the beautiful Hudson Building. It is a unique indoor shopping destination, with a trendy industrial vibe inside. There are lots of amazing shops and restaurants to check out! In this video I ate at: Victoria Pie Co, the Roast Meat and Sandwich Shop, the Shatterbox Coffee Company, The Very Good Butchers, and Vicexpress Teriyaki & Roll. Everything is amazing.

[HD] [Late Upload] The 7 Innovia Linear Metro Systems Currently in Operation

Hello, and welcome back to the channel!

This time, wehave a quick rundown of the seven Linear Induction Metros under the Innovia lineup.

The lineup was started as the Intermediate Capacity Transit System (ICTS) by the Urban Transportation Development Corporation (UTDC), a Canadian Crown company in 1982. That was later bought by Bombardier Transportation in the 1990s, who later renamed it the Innovia Metro/ART. Bombardier was bought out by Alstom in 2021/2022, but the INNOVIA remains as the signature name of Linear Metro.

Today, 7 systems currently operate with INNOVIA Metro in revenue service:

0:58 Line 3 Scarborough (Toronto, ON, Canada)
1:57 Vancouver SkyTrain (Vancouver, BC, Canada)
3:39 Detroit People Mover (Detroit, Michigan, USA)
4:30 JFK AirTrain (New York, New York, USA)
5:55 Kelana Jaya Line (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia)
7:23 Yongin Everline (Seoul, South Korea)
8:27 Beijing Capital Airport Express (Beijing, China) (in a consortium with CRRC)
10:03 Conclusion

One system looks to adapt the INNNOVIA Metro in the future, but I could not find enough information on it.

La Maison Da Nang is a brand new restaurant on Victoria Drive in South Vancouver. For their Grand Opening there is a 10% Off special.

‘La Maison’ is French for the house, and Da Nang is a city in Vietnam.
The building at Victoria Dr. and 36th street is a totally new construction.

Nice big windows bring in natural light, and the interior is modern and clean. Tables are close together in cozy dining area.

The servers ask if you'd like tea or water. The tea is served in these cups with funny handles. Be careful you might spill your drink!

Nice menu design. Very modern to go with the modern interior.
A good sized menu, with lots of choices.
