MAP OF UGANDA

greetings my friends. this is a map of Uganda. Its geography is very diverse consisting of volcanic hills, mountains, and lakes. The country sits at an average of 900 meters above sea level. Both the eastern and western borders of Uganda have mountains. The Ruwenzori mountain range contains the highest peak in Uganda, which is named Alexandra and measures 5,094 meters.

also , Much of the south of the country is heavily influenced by one of the world's biggest lakes, Lake Victoria, which contains many islands. The most important cities are located in the south, near this lake, including the capital Kampala and the nearby city of Entebbe. Lake Kyoga is in the centre of the country and is surrounded by extensive marshy areas.

Although landlocked, Uganda contains many large lakes. Besides Lakes Victoria and Kyoga, there are Lake Albert, Lake Edward, and the smaller Lake George. It lies almost completely within the Nile basin. The Victoria Nile drains from Lake Victoria into Lake Kyoga and thence into Lake Albert on the Congolese border. It then runs northwards into South Sudan. An area in eastern Uganda is drained by the Suam River, part of the internal drainage basin of Lake Turkana. The extreme north-eastern part of Uganda drains into the Lotikipi Basin, which is primarily in Kenya. thats all for now. please comment and subscribe for the best maps. goodbye.

Riding deep into the Ugandan bush to find Rhinos

I had reached central Uganda and spent the night camping at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. The sanctuary normally offers bush walks, but when suggesting I ride in there with a ranger, they were in on it.
So that's how I found mu self riding single tracks in the swamp in the African bush searching for rhinos.
By my side I had an incredibly skilled and passionate ranger, Simon. He not only made sure I was safe, he educated me on life as a rhino in such an excellent way.
I hope you will enjoy his explanations about The Supermarket, The three states Kenya, Germany and USA just as much as I did.

Road trip UGANDA SAFARI 2022 self-drive, driving in Uganda exploring National Parks. This is Uganda

This is Uganda, at least a few parts of it. Of course, there is much more to explore and see.
For safaris in Uganda visit

This Video is a summary of my journey through Uganda. Visiting the Sszesibwa Waterfalls, the source of the Nile in Jinja, and the Itanda Falls, while traveling to Sipi on Mount Elgon.

I visited Pian Upe, Murchison Falls, Queen Elizabeth Nation Park, and some other areas in between, encountered several wild animals, have seen many bird species which I did not see before. I have crossed the Equator several times and stayed in different regions in Uganda.

I have seen a lot, experienced a lot, moved many times, and slept in more than 30 accommodations. I think I can say, I have experienced Uganda at some point.

Uganda is a wonderful country, especially for wildlife safaris. You can go on very different safaris, depending on your preferences. Uganda has 10 national parks and a big variety. You can choose to go on a fully guided safari, but also do it at your own pace. It is possible to hire a car and go on a self-drive safari. Both have pros and cons and depending on your interest and budget any option is possible.

Driving in Uganda is for sure an adventure in itself. Even though it is sometimes dangerous and the chaotic traffic is not always easy to handle, after some days you get used to it.

Driving in Uganda, Mbale Town. Some chaotic traffic, the very normal daily life in Ugandan cities

On my journey from Kenya to Uganda's capital Kampala, passing Mbale.
The traffic in Uganda's cities is sometimes really crazy and can be very chaotic, even though this one was quite moderate, it is still very exhausting and tiring.
Lots of reckless drivers and hundreds of so-called bodas - the motorbikes driving absolutely carelessly.
When you travel around in Uganda, you will notice how many accidents happen, which could have been easily avoided, caused by just stupid driving.

Everyone tries to push, causing traffic jams and often terrible accidents. But this is normal in Uganda. The funny part is: no one likes the traffic jams, but everyone is driving to cause them - This is so common in Uganda. People do not want a certain situation but work hard to create it.

Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary and Murchison Falls National Park Uganda

An afternoon walk in the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary and an encounter with a rhino Family + visit to the Murchison Falls NP and some game drive in the NP.
We did not film any predators nor was this our priority - for those who would insist to see lions or leopards in Murchison you may be disappointed as they have been decimated (in all of Uganda's NPs) and it is extremely rare to encounter them.

Uganda capítol 14

[CAT]

[HD] Uganda 2016 - Mountain Gorilla Trekking, Chimpanzee Trekking, White Water Rafting on River Nile

In August 2016, my friend and I travelled to one of the most beautiful countries in the world, Uganda. We spent a total of 10 days there and did all sorts of exciting things, including trekking mountain gorillas, chimpanzees, visiting the Batwa people, going to the equator and white water rafting on River Nile. Everyone we met there was so friendly and welcoming. It was certainly a trip of a lifetime.
