In today's 4K Prague walk, we will move around the New Town (Nové Město) area. We will start at Charles Square, walk along Křemencova Street, past the famous old brewer U Fleků, go to Národní Street, cross the Vltava River over the Legion Bridge and end our journey on Újezd Street.
00:00 The New Town (Nové Město) is a quarter in the city of Prague in the Czech Republic. New Town is the youngest and most significant of the five independent (from the Middle Ages until 1784) towns that today comprise the historic center of modern Prague. New Town was founded in 1348 by Charles IV just outside the city walls to the east and south of the Old Town and encompassed an area of 7.5 km², about three times the size of the Old Town. The population of Prague in 1378 was well over 40,000, perhaps as much as twice that, making it the 4th most populated city north of the Alps and, by area, the 3rd largest city in Europe. Although New Town can trace its current layout to its construction in the 14th century, only a few churches and administrative buildings survive. There are many secular and educational buildings in New Town, especially magnificent gothic and baroque churches. These, nevertheless, are not the main drawing points for tourists. New Town's most famous landmark is Wenceslas Square, originally built as a horse market and now functions as a center of commerce and tourism. In the 15th century, the Novoměstská radnice, or New Town Hall, was the site of the first of the three defenestrations of Prague.
04:20 U Fleků is a pub and microbrewery in Prague, Czech Republic. It occupies buildings around a central courtyard at Křemencova 11 in New Town (Praha 1), not far from the National Theatre. The front facade of the building has an old, highly decorated clock above its door. Founding members of Hajduk Split, at U Fleků.
Initially a family business, the pub was founded in 1499 and therefore celebrated its 500th anniversary in 1999. It has been referred to as the oldest brewery in Prague. In 1762 the brewery was bought by Jakub Flekovský, which gave its current name: U Fleků means in Czech At the Fleks. After World War II, the company was nationalized, and control was transferred to a board of management appointed by the state. Following the Velvet Revolution, the company was privatized.
12:30 The Legion Bridge is the seventh bridge in Prague on Vltava. It stands on the site of the original chain bridge named after Emperor Francis I. It joins Shooter's Island and the Lesser Quarter. On the initiative of the entrepreneur Vojtěch Lanna, it was built between 1898 - 1901 by the architect and engineer Anthony Balšánek and Jiri Soukup. In 1901 it was opened in the presence of Emperor Franz Joseph I, after whom it was carrying its first name. After World War I, it was given today's name – the Legion Bridge. During World War II, the occupation was renamed again, this time after Bedřich Smetana, in 1960 to the Velvet Revolution, was called the First of May Bridge. The bridge was built in the architectural style of neo Art Nouveau. Its art decoration, such as stone and bronze handrail lighting lampposts, underwent repairs in the years 1981 - 1983 on the occasion of the reconstruction of the National Theatre. On both sides of the bridge, two towers were located to collect tolls in the past. The bridge is 343 meters long and 16 meters wide. It is divided into 8 flat elliptical and 1 round arches. It is built of granite blocks.

My second long trip on a motorcycle without any plan, this time from Poland ( Wrocław) to Italy ( La Spezia). After getting a vacation, check cornavirus situation on border. I packed all the things what i needed to survive in the jungle on motorbike and drive a head to the south of Poland :) In this movie the hardest part was driving through the Alps, I had really terrible weather in those days.

TOP - Wanderung auf die Hochschachten | Bayerischer Wald 2020
Hallo !!!
Meine heutige Wanderung führt mich auf die Hochschachten. Für mich die schönste Wanderung im Bayerischen Wald. Als Schachten bezeichnet man die ehemaligen Waldweiden im Bayerischen Wald. Zu sehen gibt es unter anderem noch die Lindberger Schachten, Kohlschachten, Almschachten und den Verlorener Schachten. Weitere interessante Punkte ist die Hirschbachschwelle, Hochmoorgebiet und der Latschensee. Zurück geht es dann über die Talsperre Frauenau zum Wanderparkplatz in Buchenau. Diese Wanderung kann ich nur empfehlen, denn sie ist eine der Highlights im Bayerischen Wald.

Tipy na výlet (Šumava) – Pojď s námi překrásnou přírodou na horu Ostrý!!!
Kam na výlet na Šumavě❓???? Kudy na šumavský vrchol Ostrý❓ Tipy na výlet????
Budu se Vám v sérii videí snažit podat mé postřehy a zážitky z výletů ze Šumavy. Dnes se konkrétně zaměříme na horu Ostrý. Existuje Velký a Malý Ostrý. Ve videu se podíváme na oba vrcholy. Celá tato oblast spadá pod CHKO Šumava (Chráněná krajinná oblast). Malý Ostrý je kompletně na Německé straně Šumavy a vrchol Velkého Ostrého se nachází na česko-německé hranici. Existuje mnoho tras, jak navštívit oba vrcholy.
Z české strany Šumavy můžete například:
1) ze Špičáckého sedla přes Černé jezero, Vodopád Bílá strž a Stateček
2) z Hamrů přes Stateček
Z německé strany:
1) z Lohbergu
2) z Himmelreichu
Náš výlet byl zahájen v malém městečku Lohberg z parkoviště po červeném značení. Na vrcholu se můžete občerstvit v turistické chatě ????????.

. ???????? Środkowa część Gór Izerskich Republiki Czeskiej cechuje raczej obłe wzniesienia. Jednaj i ta trasa prowadzi w miejsca z ciekawymi formacjami skalnymi, z widokami na pozostałą część Gór Izerskich.
0:24 Wycieczkę rozpoczynamy we wsi Josefův Důl. Wieś znajduje się w dolinie rzeki Kamenice w Górach Izerskich i jest punktem wyjścia do wycieczek pieszych, rowerowych i narciarskich. Kościół Przemienienia zbudowano w latach 1862-65. W wyższej części w doliny Kamenice zbudowano zaporę Josefodolską, największą i najmłodszą tego rodzaju w Górach Izerskich.
2:00 Čertovy kameny - Diabelski Kamień. Pierwsza atrakcja to skalisty punkt widokowy ze schodami i balustradami nad miejscowością Josefův Důl, skąd roztacza się piękny widok na dolinę rzeki Kamenice i zaporę zbiornika wodnego - v. n. Josefův Důl.

3:18 Na čihadle - jest to torfowisko górskie, na którym znajduje się wiele chronionych roślin typowych dla obszarów torfowisk wysokich. Znajduje się tu oryginalna wieża widokowa z której można obserwować rezewat.

4:59 Sněžné věžičky (1063 m) - są formacją skalną, a jednocześnie niższą częścią szczytu Černá hora rozdzielonej płytką przełęczą. Wieżyczki (do 10 m wysokości) składają się z wielu różnych formacji skalnych - izolowanych od siebie. Najniższa z wież ma na szczycie małą platformę widokową, a wejście na nią ułatwią drabinki.
6:41 Čertův odpočinek - kolejna ciekawa formacja skalna na zboczu Černé hory. W skale znajduje się wielka misa wietrzeniowa przypominająca swym kształtem wygodne siedzisko, stąd nazwa diabelski odpoczynek.
7:39 Černá hora (1085 m) - jest trzecim najwyższym szczytem Gór Izerskich po Smrku i Jizeře. Ma dwa szczyty, niższy to Sněžné věžičky (1063 m). Pomiędzy nimi znajduje się najwyżej położone torfowisko w czeskiej części Gór Izerskich. Jako że wędrujemy przez torfowiska, szlaki poprowadzono na drewnianych podestach.
Szlakiem zwanym „Koralova cesta” docieramy do dawnej osady Kristiánov.
8:30 Kristiánov - to osada w pobliżu Bedřichova. Do 1887 r. działa tutaj najważniejsza huta szkła w Górach Izerskich. Dziś nie ma stałych mieszkańców, ale w zachowanym zabytkowym budynku działa Muzeum Szklarstwa oraz pokazuje historię osady, a także jej mieszkańców. Zachował się także cmentarz, na którym chowano mieszkańców osady, w tym rodzinę właścicieli huty. Cmentarz został poświęcony 24 października 1780 r., a już w listopadzie został tam pochowany brat właściciela huty Franciszek Antoni Riedl. Ostatni pochówek odbył się w 1928 r., spoczął tam gajowy Robert Ringelhain. Cmentarz jest wpisany na Listę Zabytków Kultury Republiki Czeskiej.
9:16 Zapora Josefodolská jest największą i zarazem najmłodszą (budowa 1976 – 1982) zaporą w Górach Izerskich. Składa się z dwóch osobnych wałów o wysokości 43 mi długości około 720 m. Jest to największa dolina zaporowa w Górach Izerskich. Zbiornik mieści 23 miliony m3 wody i jest zbiornikiem wody pitnej dla miejscowości; Jablonca, Libereca i Českolipsko. Maksymalna powierzchnia zbiornika wynosi 138 ha. Przez zbiornik przepływa rzeka Kamenice.
