Our tour of Mombasa, the busting coastal town in Kenya, was truly captivating. It was a good break from the village. You can check out some of the tour videos on the channel. I especially enjoyed the swahili village life. PS. The Kenyan coastal community is predominantly SWAHILI speaking natives.
Unfortunately, and sadly, not all of it was glorious. While taking in the beach life, I witnessed some incidences of indecent actions by beach boys who target innocent women. The beach boys pose as lifeguards or experienced swimmers who lure women to deeper rougher waters, and the end up groping and other indecent acts on women.

Nungwi beach :
Nungwi Beach features are white sand and paradise views. The resort is located in the same name village and has a developed infrastructure. Nungwi is the best beach in modern Zanzibar.
The coast and bottom are covered with snow-white soft sand. Strong tides do not happen due to the great depth. Low cliffs rise above the beach. The landscape allows you to take morning and evening walks down a long and wide coastline. There is a lot of space for those who want to sunbathe. Nungwi is suitable for diving. It is deep and there are reefs with beautiful fish, algae and corals here. There are many banana and coconut groves on the shore, which provides natural shade and additional protection from the scorching sun.
The Indian Ocean is clean, warm and transparent. The shades of water are constantly changing. The coast is clean, there is no litter and algae. The beach is divided into several parts assigned to the hotels. It is always crowded here. You can swim at high and low tides due to the great depth, but you need to be careful. The sea-floor slope is smooth, there is sand at the bottom.
Kendwa beach :
The crowded Kendwa Beach, located in the same-name village in the northwest of Zanzibar, it is popular with travelers from all over the world. This is one of the best resorts in Zanzibar. It is calm, quiet and peaceful here. Admission to the beach is free.
Kendwa is a wide and long beach, so there is enough space for all vacationers. The slope is flat, the water deepens gradually and quickly. There is no shallow water, shells, stones and algae. On the coast fine white sand lies and tall perennial palms grow. The facilities are suitable for adults and children. The ocean is calm with azure, clear and transparent water. The tides are low.
People get to the beach and hotel by taxi, rented car, bike, bus or local Dala-Dala public transport. Ferries go to Tanzania from the archipelago; you can rent a “flying minibus” (an internal flight). Service and facilities are developed at a high level by Africa standards.

BYE BYE Kenya - Hello UGANDA // EP. 39
Our last days in Kenya, before we cross to Uganda for new adventures.
The past weeks in Kenya have been a rollercoaster, from very bad moments in Mombasa where we got scammed to beautiful remote areas, where we were able to see for the first time animals in the wild in Africa.
We are crossing the Rift Valley from lake Baringo towards Mt Elgon. This extinct volcano feels like heaven. Is one of the tallest mountains in Kenya and Africa with over 4000m , we camped at 2450m. Far away from the noise and chaos from below.
After our beautiful day in Mt Elgon we go towards the border to Uganda. The border crossing Kenya- Uganda was easy, we chose a small border to have less problems.
But just after that, we figured that the road we should be taking is broken and we need to take a detour. Sure enough, we got lost in the middle of the dirt roads in Uganda.
Eventually, we arrived in the beautiful Sipi Falls. These falls are some of the most visited in the country, we enjoy watching them from our campsite where we need to do many many things.

I was presented with an opportunity to invite some of my followers and subscribers to come and travel with me. We set off to a beautiful place close to Diani called Shimba Hills Reserve and hiked down to an amazing waterfall called Shedrick Waterfall - one of the other few awesome things to do while you're in Diani, Kenya.
