It spans 11 time zones across two continents Europe and Asia and has coasts on three oceans the Atlantic, Pacific, and Arctic. The Russian landscape varies from desert to frozen coastline, tall mountains to giant marshes. Much of Russia is made up of rolling, treeless plains called steppes.
The capital of Russia is an exciting, sparkling city which attracts visitors from all over the world. It’s a city of contrasts, where Soviet architecture mixes with fancy shops, and old Ladas and kitschy Bentleys drown in chaotic traffic. Moscow is a mixture of Asia and Europe, a quintessential combination of democracy and Soviet heritage. The city’s numerous sights, vibrant nightlife and relaxing green parks make it a wonderful holiday destination.
▶️ When to Go to Moscow:
The best time to visit Moscow is during the transitional seasons of fall and spring when the flowers are blooming, or leaves are coloring in the city parks. The long days of summer bring out all-night partiers, but the days can be quite hot. Russia’s infamous winters keep most tourists away during the cold months. Generally there is snow on the ground from March to November, but throw on some furs and knock back a few shots of vodka and you’ll fit right in. Moscow travel over New Year’s Eve can be a real treat with fireworks over the snowy city streets.

Today we arrived in the village - Ust-Anzas. This remote village is located in the Tashtagol region. The population is approximately 100 people.
ere the Shors live. This is the indigenous people of Russia. There are very few of them left and these people are threatened with complete extinction. In total, there are 13,000 Shors left on Earth. And most of them live on the territory of Mountain Shoria. Kemerovo region of Russia.
Not far from Ust Anzas there are such villages as: Ust Azas, Za-Mrasu, Chazy-Bug (up the river Mrasu); Far Kezek, Near Kezek, Cheley and the village of Parushka (down the Mrasu River). There are no roads to these villages, so many of them are already abandoned.
For a long time, taiga people lived without electricity, gas, communications and roads. And only in 2019, the authorities provided every house with solar panels. Now the locals have refrigerators and TVs in their homes. But still there is no cellular communication and the Internet. There is no school. In September, children are sent to a boarding school in Tashtagol. And they come to their parents only for the holidays. It was such a time that we found them in this amazing village.
Mountain Shoria (Shorsk. Taglyg Shor) is a mountain-taiga region located in the southern part of the Kemerovo region at the junction of Altai, Sayan and Kuznetsk Alatau. The region can conditionally be attributed to the Altai mountain system.
Mountain Shoria got its name from the indigenous people - the Shors.
We are interested in learning how our ancestors lived, to study their traditions and to master ancient crafts and meals.

To see this museum will be interesting at least from facade point of view, I mean the building itself.
The architecture of this building is quite interesting and differs from neighboring buildings.
This building is more than 100 years old and has own history.
If you like art - then also I would recomment to visit museum as well.
The collection of the museum has more than 35 thousand exhibits, from the end of 16 to the beginning of the 21st century.
The museum stores the works of the great masters of Russian art, such as Aivazovsky, Repin, Bryullov, Shishkin, etc.

Russia is a country full of adventure, culture and vast distances. A continent, a multi-ethnic country and a vast land unites both Europe and Asia. Moscow is the capital of Russia and the largest city in Europe in which both Tsar rule and soviet communism gave the city its present appearance. The Kremlin is located on a forty metre high hill above the Moskva River and beyond its protective walls are numerous buildings, palaces, towers, squares and churches. The city’s history began with the construction of the Kremlin which lay at the very heart of the city and was for centuries Russia’s spiritual and political centre. A fascinating cruise travels across numerous rivers, canals and lakes within the heart of the former Tsar’s realm, past monasteries and timber built churches. In Uglič the Dimitrijvskaija Church is crowned with blue, onion-shaped domes that are adorned with stars. The red colour of the church is a symbol of bloodshed and the incidents that once occurred at this place of death gave rise to a time of confusion. St. Petersburg, known also as the Venice Of The North, contains splendid buildings such as the Winter Palace and the Eremitage. Twenty four thousand tree stumps were used for the foundation of Isaaks Cathedral that can accommodate a congregation of fourteen thousand. In Port Baikal is the modern Circum-Baikal train that takes a full day to travel around Lake Baikal and is one of the most difficult sections of the Trans-Siberian Railroad that travels from Moscow to as far as Vladivostok. Russia is huge and its nature, culture, immense contrast and dramatic history have formed the fascinating and colourful Russian soul.
