Inside THE BIGGEST Waterfront Mansion in Australia | Perth, Australia

Take a look inside the biggest waterfront mansion in Australia. Located in Mosman Park, one of Perth’s most expensive suburbs. The home is less than 15km from the CBD and within a stone’s throw of the beach. Built to take full advantage of the unbroken vistas from three levels, the home offers an intimate living experience with both city and river views.

Selling for $59,500,000 back in 2009, the home broke records as the most expensive residence ever sold in Australia. A record that it held until 2015 with the sale of the La Mer in Vaucluse.

Located on just under 2 acres of absolute river frontage, the block alone makes this residence as one of the best in Australia. Situated on the block is a sprawling 6 bedroom, 8 bathroom mansion. Complete with a full sized swimming pool, and champion sized tennis court.

The home also features a private cinema, wine cellar and billiards room. All of which can be conveniently accessed by the elevator, because as we all know…. Stairs are for poor people

The home was purchased by Business Owner Chris Ellison and since buying the home he has already bought out two of his neighbours. Increasing the total land holding to over 9000sqm.

A secluded little beach with one of the best views of Sydney Harbour Bridge - Athol Beach - Mosman

We stumbled across a secluded little beach with one of the best views of Sydney Harbour Bridge and the city. We arrived at Taronga Zoo quite early so had some time to kill before it opened, decided to check out the Bradleys Head Walk. At 8:30am parking on a street close to the zoo entrance was not a problem. There were plenty of cyclists and joggers about so drive carefully. Heading down Bradleys Head Road towards the wharf. You come across the large National Parks sign, follow the footpath and Athol Hall directions this will take you pass the hall (wow what a great place for a wedding) and down to some steps which lead to the beach. There are uneven sandstone steps and footpath so be very careful and bring the right footwear.
The Beach is quite small broken into two sections, one needing a small climb down a small rocky cliff. The main beach is accessed by just a set of steps. Both beaches are not more than 100 meters long, Athol Beach is not patrolled and have no life savers, the boats anchored close to the shore
indicates quite deep water so probably don't leave your kids unsupervised. Ideal spot if you don't like crowds or just want a quick dip before trekking. Anyhow what a great spot for a picnic, enjoying the city and harbor views, or just do a bit of fishing. No toilets or shops about , except when probably the Hall is open. We will be back as we intend to do the Bradleys Head to Chowder Bay Walk one day.
