First up, we have Stockholm, the capital of Sweden. With its stunning architecture, beautiful parks, and a rich history, Stockholm is a must-visit destination. Take a stroll through the historic Old Town, visit the Vasa Museum, or enjoy some delicious Swedish cuisine at one of the many restaurants in the city. Next, we have Gothenburg, a vibrant city located on the west coast of Sweden. Gothenburg is known for its beautiful canals, fantastic seafood, and bustling cultural scene. Be sure to visit the Gothenburg Art Museum or take a stroll through the beautiful Botanical Garden.
Moving on, we have Malmö, a beautiful city located in southern Sweden. Malmö is known for its beautiful beaches, stunning architecture, and vibrant nightlife. The Heart of Sweden | Siljan and the Towns of Leksand, Rättvik, Mora and Orsa
Siljan is Sweden’s seventh biggest lake and it’s located in the province of Dalarna. The area surrounding the lake has been called one of the most beautiful places in Sweden. Let's see if that's true.
In this video I travel around Siljan and visit the towns of Leksand, Rättvik, Mora and Orsa, and I also pay a visit to various other destinations along the way. Places I visit include the crispbread factory in Leksand, Springkällan in Rättvik, Dalhalla, a Dalecarlian Horse (dalahäst) manufacturer in Nusnäs, Gesundaberget, Orsa Predator Park and two canyones nearby Orsa - Helvetesfallet and Storstupet.
This video also tells the history of the province of Dalarna, and discusses its history dating back hundreds of years. You will also get some amazing views of lake Siljan, Gesundaberget, and the wonderful scenery all around the lake. So come along for a wintery road trip in the area that might be called the heart of Sweden!

DALARNA: A trip to SCENIC Lake Siljan and the BEST things to do in Tällberg and Leksand. EPS 20
An excursion to Sweden's county Dalarna - and the best places to see at Lake Siljan, Tällberg and Leksand.
What do you imagine when thinking about sweden? Do you think of red cottages, scenic lakes and pitoresque little villages? There is one county where you will find all of this. Join our excursion to famous lake Siljan and Sweden's most Swedish province Dalarna.
After doing a quick detour over Fulufjället Nationalpark we were heading right to the heart of Dalarna: to famous lake Siljan. Because I had heard so much about the area we spent a whole day at the lake to discover it's most scenic places. Here are our must-visits:
- The scenic village Leksand. Have a stroll through the tiny roads and enjoy Sweden's most famous desert: Sarah Bernhardt.
- Leksands Hembygdsgårdar: An open air museum in Leksand, that has several old houses that gives you a feeling, how life in Dalarna was several hundreds years ago
- Leksands Kyrka: The church is one of the largest rural churches in Sweden and the oldest parts of the building are from the 13th century
- Pay attention to all the red houses around the lake: Dalarna is the birthplace of the traditional red painting for cottages. The color is called Falu red - and it’s named after the mines at Falun in Dalarna, where The pigment historically originated from.
- Have a swim! Lake Siljan is swedens 6th largest lake. It is the result of a meteorite that hit the area 377 million years ago
- Visit Tällberg: All houses in Tällberg are made out of wood!
- Have dinner at the Green Hotel in Tällberg and watch the sunset!

Mora is a locality and the seat of Mora Municipality in Dalarna County, Sweden, with 10,896 inhabitants in 2010.
Mora is the city that is perhaps best known for Vasaloppet (the world’s oldest long-distance cross-country ski race), Dalahästen (The Dala Horse), and Santa Claus.
Fulufjället National Park was established in 2002 and covers 385 km2 area. It is one of the largest national park outside of Norrbotten. Here you find one of Sweden's highest waterfall (Njupeskär Vattenfall) of 93 meters and the world's oldest tree, which is 9550 years old!
Njupeskär Vattenfall is located at Fulufjällets Nationalpark in Dalarna Län.
When you calculate the height of a waterfall, you also include rapids and smaller falls in direct connection to the main fall itself - and then Njupeskär is actually not the highest in Sweden. If we look across the border, to neighboring Norway, they have ten of the world's 30 highest waterfalls.

VILDMARKSVÄGEN: A STUNNING roadtrip on Swedens famous WILDERNESS ROAD // EPS 18
A 500 kilometer road-trip straight to the heart of the Swedish wilderness: Join the journey to the Vildmarksvägen. The Wilderness Road will take you to beautiful waterfalls, to lakes mirroring the sky and to Sami dwellings. Enjoy the wildlife of this northern part of Jämtland and Lapland.
The journey kicked off in the town Vilhelmina - the Vildmarksvägen starts here and is a 500 kilometer round trip to the town Strömsund.
We turned off to Saxnäs and the first one and a half hours we enjoyed the sun rising above beautiful lakes along the roadside. The first big stop was at the waterfall Trappstegsforsen - which is called the most beautiful waterfall of Sweden!
Would we do the journey on Vildmarksvägen again, we would have a clear winner for staying the night at: At the sami dwelling Fatmomakke. I finally got to taste ripe cloudberries and the best waffles in the cafe of Fatmomakke before exploring it's old Kyrkstad with typical Sami huts along lake Kultsjön close to the mountain Marsfjällen.
After Fatmomakke we were getting closer to the highlight of Vildmarksvägen: The mountain plateau Stekenjokk and the highest paved road of Sweden!
If you dare you afterwards can go for a swim in the waterfall Brakkåfallet or enjoy the view on famous Hällingsåfallet (which we unfortunatley missed because I was dreaming on my motorcycle while driving along endless lakes that were mirroring the clouds).

We had a nice one day trip to Vaxholm in Stockholm archipelago and explored the island by bike. It's a beautiful place you will enjoy every second you spent here. :-)
Vaxholm is knows as the capital of the Stockholm archipelago. In this small idyllic town, you can find history, adventure, good food and ofcourse beautiful views. Waxholm Hotel, with its great views of the fortress and harbor, is a classic choice for lunch or dinner. It is perfect place to be if you are looking for a shorter daytrip. Vaxholm is easily accessible year round, by Waxholmsbolagets boat traffic or by bus. If you take the bus, the trip is covered by SL service.

Visit to Rättvik in Dalarna, Sweden
Rättvik is a tourist city with lineage located at the eastern shores of Siljan, which today attracts both nostalgic car lovers and music lovers.
In 1894 Sweden's first tourist hotel was built here, followed by a long bridge that was made for the steamboat traffic when the streams of tourists grew in the district. Classic Car Week, Sweden's biggest meeting for nostalgic car lovers attracts large crowds to Rättvik. Europe's most spectacular outdoor arena for music, Dalhalla, also makes people travel across Sweden to attend the concerts. Fiddler tradition is intimately associated with Rättvik. A visit to Bingsjöstämman is a way to experience this phenomenon at close range.
