- Heading southeast from Macedon on the Calder Freeway (M79), joining the Tullamarine Freeway (M2) until turning onto Flemington Road then Elliott Ave and continuing until joining Alexandra Parade, turning south onto Smith St, then east onto Johnston Street through Collingwood, then cutting through on Nicholson Street to turn east on Victoria Street, stopping at Ikea at Victoria Gardens Shopping Centre, then back onto Victoria Street, turning northeast onto High Street through Kew until turning east onto Harp Road & Belmore Road to Mont Albert North, staying with my mum for the night
AUSTRALIA, 2022:
One version of the The Big Lap - 19,000km clockwise around Australia in five weeks, this time in my 2011 Hyundai i30 - a diesel engine with amazing fuel economy and just enough room to sleep in the back.
Starting from home in Casterton in far west Victoria, heading through South Australia via Adelaide and the Flinders Ranges and across the Nullarbor to the south coast of Western Australia, past Perth and up the west coast, through the Pilbara and Kimberley, into the Northern Territory, across into outback Queensland and then to the coast at Ayr, south along the Great Dividing Range into New South Wales and down through the Blue Mountains to the south coast at Bermagui before heading through the Australian Alps into north eastern Victoria, across to Melbourne and back home to Casterton.

Paynesville Foreshore Victoria, Australia by Drone in 4K.
Paynesville is located 17 kilometres south of Bairnsdale within the Gippsland Lakes system and with direct access to both Lake King and Lake Victoria.
Paynesville is a popular boating location, effectively surrounded on three sides by water. There are extensive lawns, stretches of sand, boat ramps and a pier along the southern shoreline. The eastern shoreline along McMillans Strait also includes lawn areas but is more geared towards boating with several marinas, jetties and Fishermans Wharf with its waterfront cafe and restaurant.
200 metres off the coast of Paynesville and linked to the town by a vehicular ferry is Raymond Island. The island has a small residential population which co-exists with many native birds and animals, offering ideal bushwalking opportunities.
Just north of Paynesville, at Eagle Point, the Mitchell River enters Lake King. Bluff Lookout provides good views over the lake, river and surrounding countryside.
The catamaran with the black sail is acting like a hydrofoil because it has winged rudders & centre boards allowing it to lift out of the water & reduce drag. The hulls look like they are upside down, no idea the logic behind that.
This was the maiden flight of my new DJI Mini 3 Pro, pretty happy with it.

CONQUERED TALLEST MOUNTAIN IN VICTORIA- MT BOGONG!!
Mount Bogong - Staircase Spur is a 21.4km, grade 4 hike located in the Alpine National Park, Victoria. The hike should take around 9-10 hrs to complete.
Be prepared for a steep, arduous hike that requires a high level of fitness. Eskdale Spur Walking Track is a popular and challenging route to the summit of Mt Bogong. It is a steep, rocky, exposed climb with little shade as you get higher.
Standing at 1986 metres, it requires a steep and challenging climb to reach the top, making any Mount Bogong hike no walk in the park. While the remote mountain can be summited a number of ways, we decided to climb Mount Bogong in one long day from the northern side.

Launceston Tramway Museum, Tasmania, Australia
The Launceston Tramway Museum in Northern Tasmania has a collection of Trams dating back to the lines opening in 1911. This film shows how 2 trams No:1 and No:29 have been fully restored. Members give full interviews, there are cab rides, runbys and scenes from inside this museum.
Spruce Studios were given full access to all areas while making this film and it is because of the knowledge of the members of this unique museum that we have been able to complete such a detailed account of the people who restore the trams and the trams themselves.
