Join me on a walk with Ken to the Julina Memorial School for the Deaf in Mityana - Uganda

Anfang Juni 2021 verbrachte ich einige Tage in Mityana an der Julina Memorial School for the Deaf.

At the beginning of June 2021 I spent a few days in Mityana at the Julina Memorial School for the Deaf.
The school is a project of the priest John Paul (whom you can get to know in another video in an interview) - mainly deaf and dumb children are taught here - but there are also a few children with other learning disabilities, physical and / or mental disabilities.
Another lockdown was announced in Uganda with effect from June 10, 2021, including closing all schools in the country - the children of the Julina Memorial School for the Deaf also had to go home.
In this video I walk back from Mityana town to school with Ken, a staff at the school, talk to the headmistress Joan and show you some nice shots of the school and the nature around it.

Wie könnt Ihr dieses tolle Projekt unterstützen ?
In which way you can support this meaningful project ?

You can contact the priest John Paul or the project by these ways :

Of course you can contact me as well by leaving a comment - I am happy to arrange the contact to the school.
