Miramar Beach Rocky Point Mexico Project.mov
Stan Hillhouse Project Director and General Partner of Miramar Beachside shows potential investors the plan of action for building luxury homes overlooking the ocean in Rocky Point Mexico. This 17 acre project was located just west of the Mayan Palace approximately 30 minutes from Rocky Point. This $85,000,000 project was slated for completion in the fall of 2010.
This project was halted when the real estate market began to show signs of a down turn in the Phoenix area, for 85% of all property purchased in this area, were from buyers living in Maricopa County.
The option to purchase the land was allowed to expire by the Miramar Beachside team, and the Mexican owners then sold individual lots. No formal land development was ever completed.

Tampico, Mexico ????????is AMAZING! (Visit Now)
I spent three days in Tampico, ate at some good local restaurants and a fancy place in the mall. It was fun to walk around the main squares in the Centro, the architecture reminds me of New Orleans. The most interesting thing was feeding the raccoons at the beach. Apparently raccoons just hang out around the rocks and people can buy crackers to feed them. It was a nice quick trip, I’ll have to go back sometime and explore a little more.
