- Cork City Gaol may look like a castle, but it was in fact a 19th century prison! Now open to the public as a tourist attraction, visitors get a fascinating insight into day-to-day prison life back in the 1800s.

Jameson Distillery Experience Tour Midleton, County Cork Ireland

Join us for a visit to the Jameson Distillery Experience Tour in Midleton, County Cork, Ireland. Jameson Whiskey has some of the best tour guides I have seen. Learn how Jameson Whiskey was made from the 1800's to the present. The Midleton Distillery is located between Cork and Waterford in the South of Ireland. Not to be confused with Jameson Bow Street, this is the active location where Jameson Whiskey is currently distilled. Jameson Bow Street is more of a tour of displays and a tasting room, which also worth visiting.

The tour lasts approximately 75 minutes and this video compacts the tour down to 14 minutes.

It is definitely worth the visit and we highly recommend it! Be sure to plan your visit to the Jameson Distillery Experience Tour in Midleton, County Cork Ireland by buying tickets here in advance and skipping the line:

Jameson Midleton Distillery Tour: Exploring The Southern Irish Coast

In this adventure my family and I visit the Southern Irish Coast and catch the beautiful seaside views from the Ballycotton Cliffs of Southern Ireland. Then we head up to Midleton to tour the Jameson Midleton Distillery. Finishing off with dinner at the delicious SAGE Restaurant in Midleton, Ireland.

The Ballycotton Cliffs are a hidden gem of Eastern Cork Co. Dotting the Irish Southern Coastline, the Cliffs offer phenomenal views of the North Atlantic on a clear day. The nearby town of Ballycotton allows for parking for both the cliffs and the Lighthouse boat tours during the Summer Season.

The famous Old Midleton Distillery, onced housing the 3 great Whisky Powers of Ireland: Jameson, Powers and Cork Distillers, is a testament to Irish Whisky craft. A compound that goes back to the 18th Century as a Woolen Mill, the tour takes you through the different buildings and processes that were and still being used to make some of the most recognized whiskies the World over. Don't forget to get your free Jameson drink at the end and visit the gift shop on the way out.

SAGE Restaurant started in 2008 and has gone through a metamorphosis over it's life so far. A farm to table restaurant that limits it's seasonal menu to focus on quality over quantity. It was a true delight to eat at this Nationally Acclaimed Restaurant. Save room for dessert because that was to die for.

Hi guys, my name is Benjamin Oh and I am the Travel Don. Been on and off traveling pretty much my whole life and now I want to share those adventures with you all. So come on and join the fun as I eat, hike and see as many of the sights this World has to offer as I can possibly see.

Top 4 Distilleries in Dublin | Dublin | Irish Whiskey | Ireland | Things to do in Dublin

Top 4 Distilleries in Dublin | Dublin | Irish Whiskey | Ireland | Things to do in Dublin

In this video, we share with you the top 4 distilleries in Dublin that you should check out on your next visit to the city.

Roe & Co Whiskey is a premium brand of whiskey that has been made by distilling rye, wheat, and malted barley in the same manner as traditional American whiskey. The company was founded in 1872 by three brothers: James Roe, William Roe, and George Roe Jr. The first batch of whiskey was distilled in 1873 using water from a well on their family farm.

The Jameson Distillery Tour is one of the most popular tours in Ireland. It’s the only place you can get a tour of this whiskey-making facility and see how it all happens. You’ll learn about the history, process, and types of whiskey that are made here.

The Jameson Distillery has a long history in Dublin. In 1780, Captain John McCarthy set up his own distillery here, and the whiskey was so popular that it became known as “Dublin’s finest drink.”

Pearse Lyons whiskey is made from 100% malted barley from the Isle of Islay, Scotland. It has a smooth taste that creates a perfect balance of flavors and aromas. The whiskey also features an amber color and is very easy to drink straight or mixed with other drinks.

Teeling Whiskey is a distillery in Dublin, Ireland. The whiskey is made from various grains, including barley and wheat. Teeling's whiskey is aged for four years before it can be sold to the public.

The Irish whiskey industry is the largest in the world, and there are two main types of traditional Irish whiskey. The first type is called single malt whiskey, which uses malted barley to make its base spirit. The second type is called blended whiskey, which typically has a neutral grain spirit with added flavorings.

Dublin is a beautiful city filled with history in Ireland. With something for everyone, it attracts millions of visitors every year. From the old buildings that are scattered all around the city, to the museums telling more about history, you could fall in love with Dublin.

???????? Pit Stop at the Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church in Midleton | ASMR Walk | Ireland Vlog #11

Yay! It´s Pit Stop time again and of course it´s an additional something after my beautiful stay i had in Lismore. So as earlier mentioned in the video, on my way to the area of Clonakilty i saw this church after i shopped some groceries for the evening and thought it looks very nice and jeez.. It looked like in one of those classic movies. Though i´m not a true believer or so, i thought it was worth a sneak peak.

Here´s some history about the church:
