Hallo and greeting from the northern port city of Hamburg, Germany where we we'll explore the top 10 things to do in Hamburg in this travel guide on a tight time constrained 24 hour visit! This is where Sam and I kicked off our recent trip across Germany, and while we only had one full day to explore, we hit the ground running ready to eat, see and do as much as possible. After a solid night's rest, we seemed to have kicked the jet lag, and we spent our day exploring the red-brick warehouses of Speicherstadt, touring the port by boat, eating our fill of pickled herring, taking part in a chocolate-making workshop, and a whole lot more. In this video, we’ll be focusing our travels along the German side where we spent a couple of days enjoying what the destination has to offer.
We’ll first take you on a foodie biking tour departing from Radolfzell and touring the Höri Peninsula where we’ll try all sorts of fresh seasonal foods. We’ll spend a bit of time exploring the city of Konstanz on foot. We’ll then hop on a ferry and cross Lake Constance from west to east, enjoying the scenery along the way. Plus, when we arrive in Lindau, we’ll take you on a self-guided wine tour where we’ll hike and enjoy a picnic in a vineyard.

Today we’re showing you around this charming and historic university town situated in southwestern Germany. This was the final stop of our trip across Germany and while we only had 3 days here, we still managed to cover a lot of the main attractions in the old town.
In this video, we’ll be touring the ruins of Heidelberg Castle and exploring some of its gems which include an enormous wine barrel and the apothecary museum. We’ll wander through Heidelberg University, which happens to be the oldest university in all of Germany, and at one point had an infamous student jail. Greetings from the German Alps where today in our travel guide we’ll be showing you around Berchtesgaden National Park, Germany’s only alpine national park, which may also be the most beautiful place in all of Germany.
This is a place that I had been wanting to visit ever since I learned of its existence, and I knew Sam would be happy with a quiet nature escape especially when the scenery looks like this! Give us mountains, forests and lakes any day of the week and we’re a happy couple.
We spent a total of 3 nights based in the town of Schönau am Königssee and we made the most of our time here with plenty of hikes around Berchtesgaden National Park, a boat tour on the emerald waters of Königssee, a cable car ride up Jenner Mountain, plus we just had fun befriending the local farm animals and enjoying rainy picnics with mountain views from our balcony.

Trip details:
We stayed in the town of Schönau am Königssee.
Our guesthouse was called Alpenpension Bergidyll.
The hiking trail on the first day was Malerwinkl.
We took the Jennerbahn Cable Car to Mittelstation on the second day.
The boat trip on the third day was done with Bayerische Seenschifffahrt starting in Königssee with stops in St Bartholomä, Salet, and a hike to Obersee.

????????Konstanz at the Bodensee . You shouldn't miss these sights on a city trip. What should you definitely not miss in Konstanz? I am happy to show you. Just come with me. We start our tour at the historical clock in the harbor.
???????? 3 Päbste 700 Hundert Dirnen und 4 Jahre Zeit. Das war das Konzil von Konstanz. Es fand von November 1414 bis April 1418 statt und war eine Versammlung der Kirchenführung in Konstanz. Die Versammlung sollte die Einheit der Kirche wiederherstellen. Die Stadt wurde von 150.000 Menschen besucht und wurde somit eine der Reichsten Städte in Süddeutschland. Es gab Wildschwein, Reh, Hase aber auch Otter , Amseln, und Drosseln landeten auf den Tisch. Die Übernachtung für einen Monat kostetet zwischen einem und zwei Gulden. Der Wein war günstig und die 700 Dirnen machten auch mit den Männern des Konziels einen guten Job. Seither die wildeste Party am Bodensee. Zum Schluß hatten alle drei Päbste abgedankt der neue Pabst hieß Martin der V. und die Spaltung der Kirche war verhindert.

The congregation should restore the unity of the church. The overnight stay for a month costs between one and two guilders. The wine was cheap and the 700 prostitutes did a good job with the men of the council too. Since then the wildest party on Lake Konstanz. At the end all three Popes had abdicated, the new Pope was called Martin the V and the division of the Church was prevented.

Lake Constance is also known as Konstanz or Bodensee in the German Language. In summer, you can go for a swim in Lake Constance. Also, you can take a ferry ride which is very scenic with a view of Swiss Alps.
Konstanz town also has a very pretty Christmas Market in winters. Switzerland has an adjoining border with this town, which is also displayed at the end of this video and also in another video on this channel.
