Wonderful Village in Southern Germany - Villingen-Schwenningen 4K Ultra HD Footage
Villingen-Schwenningen is a city located in Germany in the southwest of the Land of Baden-Württemberg. With around 81,000 inhabitants, the municipality is the largest in the Black Forest-Baar district.
The particularity of the city lies in the fact that it consists of two entities corresponding to two formerly independent towns, namely Villingen and Schwenningen. The two former municipalities merged in 1972 to become Villingen-Schwenningen. Another particularity is geographical: between the two old towns less than 5 kilometers apart, runs along a north-south axis the watershed between the North Sea (to the north) and the Black Sea (to the east).

Very Beautiful German Village - Trossingen 4K Ultra HD Footage
You can hear a lot of music on a tour of Trossingen. This is due to the State University of Music and Trossingen's past: to be more precise, the Hohner company. We start in Kirchstrasse and walk over Löhrstrasse towards the market square. There we see the dinosaur and the museum belonging to it on the left. Cross the main street to the left onto the campus of the State University of Music. From there we go over to the boiler house and through the former Hohner factories. In the Hohnerstraße there are still a few beautiful older houses, which we will take a quick look at. Then it goes over the Cluser Straße to Bahnhofstraße. Our tour ends there. Here is a free car park and the end of downtown Trossingen. Not much has been preserved of the old townscape. Today, Trossingen is also a city without a profile with an uncertain future. The new REWE shopping center is impressive and even architecturally successful. But a city lives from production and not from sales.
Trossingen in Germany is famous because of its company Hohner which produces music instruments.

GERMANY Schwäbisch Hall & Vellberg (28 June 2022)
Our last visit during this holiday was to the town of Schwäbisch Hall. It was just a 15 minutes drive from our accommodation in Vellberg.
Schwäbisch Hall is a city in the German state of Baden-Württemberg and capital of the district of Schwäbisch Hall. The city is located in the valley of the Kocher river in the north-eastern part of Baden-Württemberg.
Hall was a Free Imperial City for five centuries until it was annexed by Württemberg in 1802.
In 1960, Schwäbisch Hall reached the status of a Große Kreisstadt.
This means that the city took over some tasks of the district.[6] From the end of World War II until the end of the Cold War, Dolan Barracks and Schwäbisch Hall Army Air Field was a kaserne which hosted a series of US Army aviation units and ordnance units until it was turned back over to German control in 1993.

Sigmaringen Castle, Germany
Sigmaringen Castle (German: Schloss Sigmaringen) was the princely castle and seat of government for the Princes of Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen. Situated in the Swabian Alb region of Baden-Württemberg, Germany, this castle dominates the skyline of the town of Sigmaringen. The castle was rebuilt following a fire in 1893, and only the towers of the earlier medieval fortress remain. Schloss Sigmaringen was a family estate of the Swabian Hohenzollern family, a cadet branch of the Hohenzollern family, from which the German Emperors and kings of Prussia came. During the closing months of World War II, Schloss Sigmaringen was briefly the seat of the Vichy French Government after France was liberated by the Allies. The castle and museums may be visited throughout the year, but only on guided tours. It is still owned by the Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen family, although they no longer reside there.

Sankt Georgen im Schwarzwald is a town in Southwestern Baden-Württemberg, Germany. The town lies at an altitude of 800 to 1000 meters above sea level. The largest part of the municipality, almost 60 km2, consists of forest and fields.
The charming landscape in combination with a variety of exciting destinations in the vicinity make St. Georgen a popular destination for a holiday in the Black Forest (German: Schwarzwald). It has numerous guesthouses and farms with holiday apartments. The mountain town of St. Georgen is not called the sunny mountain town for nothing. While the valleys disappear under a thick blanket of fog, St. Georgen often has bright sunshine.

GERMANY: Beuron Archabbey (monastery)
Beuron Archabbey (in German Erzabtei Beuron or St. Martin) is a major house of the Benedictine Order. It was founded in 1863 by the brothers Maurus and Placidus Wolter.
The abbey still is a centre of study. The library is the largest monastic library in Germany, with over 400,000 books. The abbey also houses the Vetus-Latina-Institut (Ancient Latin Institute), which has for its purpose the collection and publication of all extant old Latin translations of the Bible.
The abbey is located at Beuron in the upper Danube valley in Baden-Württemberg in Germany.

STREET VIEW: Fridingen an der Donau in GERMANY
Wir starten mit unserem Rundgang durch Fridingen an der Donau in der Kirchstraße direkt vor der Kirche St. Martinus. Anschließend gehen wir über den Kirchplatz zum Rathaus hinüber. Danach geht es vor bis zur Donaustraße und dann wieder zurück durch die Schloßgasse und vor bis zur Donau. Über die Hintere Gasse und die Zehntscheuergasse gehen wir in die Mittlere Gasse und dann über den Kirchplatz zurück zum Ausgangspunkt in der Kirchstraße, in welcher man sehr gut parken kann.

Wir starten am Eingang zur Schmiedgasse auf der Insel Lindau im Bodensee und gehen über den Marktplatz. Anschließend geht es weiter In Der Grub bis zur Peterskirche. Dann wechseln wir über die Schafgasse in die Maximilianstraße. Von dort geht es weiter bis zum Bahnhof und dann in den Hafen. Wir gehen dann wieder zurück in die Maximilianstraße und über den Marktplatz in die Linggstraße. Danach geht es zurück zum Ausgangspunkt.
Lindau is a very beautiful and old city at Lake Constance in Southern Bavaria in Germany. The town is situated very close to Austria and a big tourist attraction.
