You NEED to Visit Puglia Italy ???????? The Next Amalfi Coast? Monopoli + Polignano a Mare (Travel Guide)
Travel to Puglia Italy. In this week's video we're visiting one of the less known regions of Italy, Puglia. Puglia is almost a secret in Italy, situated in the boot of Italy, it isn't as famous or as visited as some other regions of Italy.
We start the video in the town of Polignano a Mare. The town itself is very famous for a beach called Lama Monachile. We start off the video with a great view overlooking the beach and eventually make our way down to it to check out the pebble beach surrounding by dramatic cliffs.
We then head into the old town of Polignano a Mare and explore the small streets, squares and look off points. We stop at a restaurant called Il Grottino to try a local pasta dish called Orecchiette alla Pugliese.
We then make our way to the train station and take a 5 minute ride to the town we're staying, Monopoli.
In Monopoli we stop for a delicious Cafe freddo at Iridium Café.
We then take you on a tour of our apartment rental. Book it here:
Lastly we take a walk around the old town of Monopoli, stopping at the beach just outside the old walls and walking around the walled city.

Vado a scoprire la città di Matino, situata a soli 7 km nell'entroterra da Gallipoli e dalle coste del Salento ionico dove si stendono molte fra le più belle spiagge di sabbia della Puglia.
Matino è un borgo ricco di storia, con un magnifico centro storico dove svettano edifici nobiliari cinquecenteschi, archi monumentali e chiese barocche.
Nel borgo antico si diramano vicoli fioriti tra case imbiancate a calce, in un susseguirsi di deliziose dimore ricettive create da un sapiente restauro e recupero conservativo di palazzi storici oggi trasformati in B&B, Relais e Resort di Charme.

Vi porto alla scoperta di un B&B nel Salento a Matino, vicino Gallipoli.
Questa dimora ricettiva antica è caraterizzata da uno stile di arredi innovativo, di design e con elevati standard di accoglienza.
Il B&B Suite Corte Baracca si trova nel centro storico di Matino, un meraviglioso borgo salentino che si erge su tre colli vista mare, a 7 km da Gallipoli.
Guardando questo video capirai perche il jet set internazionale, da qualche anno, sta letteralmente perdendo la testa per la città di Matino che ha fatto innamorare Tiziano Ferro e lo stilista Etro.
E di Matino e della sua Corte Baracca mi sono perdutamente innamorata anche io.

Vi porto a visitare Tenuta Pompea, una meravigliosa masseria in Salento, situata nelle campagne tra Casarano e Matino, a soli 10 km da Gallipoli.
Tenuta Pompea è una meravigliosa dimora rurale del XVII secolo, egregiamente restaurata e che mette a disposizione dei suoi ospiti:
- due grandi appartamenti indipendenti, uno a pian terreno e uno al piano superiore, ciascuno con 2 camere da letto matrimoniali e una camera da letto singola
- piscina con idromassaggio immerse nel verde
- campo da tennis e da calcetto
A disposizione degli ospiti, un orto biologico perfettamente coltivato e un pollaio da cui gli ospiti possono prelevare le uova fresche in ogni momento della giornata.
Inoltre, nel bosco di pini e di allori, ci si può distendere su amache e altalene per un pieno relax nel clima mediterraneo.
Sul campanile della facciata principale di Tenuta Pompea si ammira una preziosa campana realizzata dalla Pontificia Fonderia Marinelli di Agnone in Molise, il più antico stabilimento al mondo per la produzione delle campane.

I take you to visit Tenuta Pompea, one of the most beautiful masserie of Salento located in the countryside between Casarano and Matino, just 10 km from Gallipoli.
Tenuta Pompea is a wonderful 17th century rural home, well restored and it makes available to its guests:
- two large independent apartments, one ground floor and one on the upper floor, each with 2 double bedrooms and a single bedroom
- swimming pool with jacuzzi immersed in green
- tennis and soccer court
Available to guests, a perfectly grown organic garden and a henhouse from which guests can collect fresh eggs at any time of the day.
Moreover, in the woods of pines and laurels, you can relax on hammocks and swings for a full relaxation in the Mediterranean climate.
Tenuta Pompea is the ideal place to visit Gallipoli, with its magnificent coast, the coastal towers and its crystal sea, just a short distance from Lecce, the capital of Salento.
