Manfrotto Tripods: We use Manfrotto Tripods. They are compact, travel well, and honestly I would not use another tripod for my nice cameras.
Travel Plug that works in pretty much any country & has four USB ports. A must for any traveler.

Weekend trip to Matagalpa & Selva Negra in Nicaragua. I did a little hiking in Selva Negra then explored the city of Matagalpa. Matagalpa is up in the mountains and has a much cooler climate compared to many other cities in Nicaragua.

Releasing birds into the wild in Nicaragua is just one of the many activities you can do with a visit to the Selva Negra organic farm and ecolodge. We released a TOUCAN in Nicaragua! Situated up in the Northern Highlands of Nicaragua a short drive from Matagalpa, you can be easily forgiven for thinking that you are in Europe with the cooler climate and German influenced buildings! It is a unique place, with plenty of fun activities to do, including hiking trails, farm tours of the coffee plantation and organic farm and more!
