We have to start with Kojori!
Nothing quite compares to the feeling of an amazing place that takes your breath away.
Kojori is perfect, the Fortress is so enchanting.
But Kojori fortress is best seen at sunrise to see it in all in its magical glory.
Getting up early may not be the easiest thing you can do, but I promise, it will one of the best things you ever did in Georgia.

Trip to Kazbegi (Georgia).
Stephantsmida in Kazbegi, is truly something straight out of a fairytale, with its majestic peaks, and beautiful church in a valley that boards green and snow covered mountains.

Sighnagi City of Love (Georgia).
Paris is called the city of love.
But Sighnaghi is Georgia’ slittle gem.
With spectacular architecture and beautiful landscapes.

At these poppy fields, in Marnoli.
I feel free...very free.
But more importantly I feel like I am living life.

I think the poppy fields in MARNOLI are somewhere, that everyone should go at some time

Svaneti the gateway to Georgia’s ancient highlands.
Svaneti is beautiful, wild and mysterious and so so remote.
Here the snow peaks rise above the alpine meadows, give you the feeling of freedom… ….because you can wonder wherever you want, whenever you want.
Such an adventure to climb to the top with fantastic mountain views.
But for me the highlights were the alpine flowers and the 1,000 year old towers.

Vashlovani National Park (Georgia).
I love the romantic energy of Vashlovani.
I am always so amazed by its beauty, Vashlovani is a fantastic remote park with breathtaking scenery combined with diversity of birds and plant life.
Vashlovani reminds me of Africa so much…It has mountains, beautiful valleys, and a vast network of stunning dry riverbeds.
Vashlovani has amazing Prairie type fields with green endless grasses and semi-arid desert landscapes to navigate.
The stunning desert hills, are so desolate and gorgeous.
It’s worth to stay a weekend here – but not in July or August though!
Far too hot…. It is a dessert afterall!

Abudelauri Lakes Roshka (Georgia)
It’s absolutely impossible to describe the delight of Abudelauri Lakes
I could not say whether the lakes were green or blue or emerald - all three are just stunning .
I just want to sit there and stare and stare.

Samshvilde Georgia
Samschvilde is a beautiful ancient fortress and castle town where you can really enjoy the peace and quiet.
The old walls at Samschvilde will tell you tales.
and remind you of ancient times.
it’s possible to walk around and watch the eagles, stalking from high above the beautiful canyon and ancient settlements.

Old Town Tbilisi.
This little waterfall in the old city shows that Tbilisi is really different from other cities.
The waterfall is located in the heart of the Old town by walking through the sulphur baths area.
The domes in Old Tbilisi house historical bathhouses with pools of lovely hot, sulfur-rich water to soak in.
And…if you’re brave a 15 minute body scrub.
But BEWARE, take off your rings before getting in: silver reacts with the sulphur!!! ;

Rkoni Bridge ????????
I felt like I was in heaven, last time I was in Rkoni.
Walk through this lush green forest.
Along meandering pathsThrough beautiful valleys past old temples and you finally reach this amazing bridge.
Can you believe that it was crafted from egg whites in the 12th or 13th century?.
In fact - No one is quite sure.
But who cares, I just love the way the bridge has incredibly kept its original appearance

The Road to Russia: Gergeti & The Georgia Military Highway
15 Km from the Russian border, and high upon a mountain, sits one of Georgia’s most iconic churches – Gergeti Trinity Church.
But the road to Gergeti is also filled with adventures and sites, not just in the hike up, but also on the famous military highway that leads to Russia. In this video we drive along the Georgia military highway that leads to the Russian border, stopping at many beautiful sites and tourist attractions, finishing in Stepantsminda, high up in the caucus mountains to hike up to Gergeti trinity.

Sometimes beauty is not far away from home
These large lovely botanical gardens are in Tbilisi
In fact in the Old Town of Tbilisi
During a hot summer day, they are a great place to have a mini hike and mini day out
They make the perfect getaway from the city traffic and smog
with their gorgeous waterfalls,
their flowering plants
and omg the choir of crazy singing frogs

Gomi Mountain Georgia Europe
We call Gomi Mountain
the kingdom of clouds and mystic mist.
The sun rises through the mountain mist
creating such a spectacular and unforgettable sight,
like in a aero plane.
If you get chance, stay overnight in the clouds, so that you can catch the mists
at both the late sunset in the evening
and the early sunrise in the morning

Just an hour drive from Tbilisi, you will reach the vast scenic forest of Sabaduri
Perfect for arranging a picnic in a cozy, beautiful place with family, friends and children.

If you want to go there only to see Koruldi lakes, don't bother
Seriously the lakes are very small (ponds in fact) and not worth the effort.

Summary of our drive to Vardzia via the highlands of Samtskhe-Javakheti.
Outbound from Tbilisi we took the S6 highway in the direction of Marneuli. From Koda we followed the entire Sh31 to Ninotsminda via Tbisi and Tsalka along Paravani Lake, Georgia's largest lake, at 2073 m above sea level. From Ninotsminda we took the S11 to Akhalkalaki and Khertvisi. Through the Mtkvari Gorge we arrived at Vardzia.
