At Germany's biggest lake, the Bodensee (lake Constance), is one of the best cities to visit in Germany. If you are planning to travel the South of Germany make sure to put it on your route, it's the perfect place if you're looking for an authentic & traditional German experience. There are almost no foreign tourists.
Lindau is in the most southern part of Bavaria on a little island on the lake Constance, directly bordering Austria (by land) and Switzerland (by water). The city is hosting every year the Nobel Laureate Meetings.

???????? 3 Päbste 700 Hundert Dirnen und 4 Jahre Zeit. Das war das Konzil von Konstanz. Es fand von November 1414 bis April 1418 statt und war eine Versammlung der Kirchenführung in Konstanz. Die Versammlung sollte die Einheit der Kirche wiederherstellen. Die Stadt wurde von 150.000 Menschen besucht und wurde somit eine der Reichsten Städte in Süddeutschland. Es gab Wildschwein, Reh, Hase aber auch Otter , Amseln, und Drosseln landeten auf den Tisch. Die Übernachtung für einen Monat kostetet zwischen einem und zwei Gulden. Der Wein war günstig und die 700 Dirnen machten auch mit den Männern des Konziels einen guten Job. Seither die wildeste Party am Bodensee. Zum Schluß hatten alle drei Päbste abgedankt der neue Pabst hieß Martin der V. und die Spaltung der Kirche war verhindert.

Lindau is one of the best places in Bavaria! It's a major town and island on the eastern side of Lake Constance (Bodensee in German) in Bavaria, Germany. The coat of arms of Lindau town is a linden tree, referring to the supposed origin of the town's name (Linde means linden tree in German). The historic town of Lindau is located on the 0.68-square-kilometer (0.26 sq mi) island of the same name which is connected with the mainland by a road bridge and a railway dam leading to Lindau station.
Lindau is a popular tourist attraction in the South of Germany. The gardens of Lindau are best in spring or summer blossom and summer is the peak tourist period. Lindau is famous for its architecture and outdoor attractions such as cycling, sailing, hiking, swimming and camping are also popular.

Konstanz is a city on Lake Constance (Bodensee), in southern Germany. Its preserved medieval district of Niederburg includes the Romanesque Konstanz Cathedral, known for its mix of decorative styles and a Gothic spire. The town hall is covered in delicate frescoes and has a Renaissance-style courtyard. The Rosgartenmuseum chronicles the region’s cultural history, exhibiting prehistoric to 20th-century objects.
Sidling up to the Swiss border, bisected by the Rhine and outlined by the Alps, Konstanz sits prettily on the northwestern shore of Lake Constance. Roman emperors, medieval traders and the bishops of the 15th-century Council of Constance have all left their mark on this alley-woven town, mercifully spared from the WWII bombings that obliterated other German cities.
When the sun comes out, Konstanz is a feel-good university town with a lively buzz and upbeat bar scene, particularly in the cobbled Altstadt and the harbour, where the voluptuous Imperia turns. In summer the locals, nicknamed Seehasen (lake hares), head outdoors to the leafy promenade and enjoy lazy days in lakefront lidos.
Konstanz is a city in southern Germany. It lies on the border with Switzerland and on Lake Constance (Bodensee), exactly where the river Rhine exits the lake. The city is split in two by the Rhine. Although the Rhine is the usual border between Switzerland and Germany, the historic part of Konstanz lies on the south (Swiss) side of the Rhine and is more or less an enclave.
Konstanz has traces of civilization dating from the stone age and was settled by the Romans in about 50 CE. Konstanz was an important trade centre and a spiritual centre. At the council of Konstanz in 1414-1418, a papal election was held, ending the papal schism. Konstanz attempted to join the Swiss Confederacy in about 1460, but was voted down. Due to its proximity to Switzerland, Konstanz was not bombed during world war II and its historic old town remains intact. It is a historic city with a charming old town, and could be called the jewel of the region.

Urlaub im Tiny-Haus am Bodensee | Biolandhof Geßler | Markdorf
Infos, Standort und Link zum Biolandhof Gessler
Nur zehn Minuten von Meersburg entfernt liegt der Biolandhof der Familie Geßler.
Hier könnt Ihr nicht nur die Natur geniessen und die Seele baumeln lassen, sondern auch in einem Tiny-House übernachten.
Kaum zu glauben, dass wir nur ein paar Kilometer von den beliebten Touristenmagneten des Bodensees entfernt sind. Zum Biolandhof gehören etwa 8 Hektar Obstanlagen und 8 Hektar Wald.
Neben einigen Hundert Hühnern und Hähnchen tummeln sich hier noch zahlreiche weitere kleinere und größere Tiere die man unter anderem im Streichelzoo bewundern kann.
Im eigenen Hofladen könnt Ihr, je nach Saison, frisches Obst und Gemüse, Apfelsaft und Marmelade, Eier und Geflügel, und
auch das ein oder andere Fläschchen Schnaps erwerben.
Direkt neben dem Bauernhof befinden sich insgesamt vier der sogenannten Tiny-Häuser.
Die kleinen, ökologisch gefertigten, Gebäude bieten allen Komfort den man zu Hause auch findet, nur eben auf kleinerem Raum.
Eine Küchenzeile mit Backofen, Kühlschrank und Kaffeekocher ist ebenso Standard wie eine Dusche, Heizung, TV und W-Lan-Empfang.
Alle Häuser haben eine Schlafempore und ein zusätzliches Sofa das zum Schlafen ausgezogen werden kann.
Je nach Personenanzahl stehen euch zwei verschiedene Größen der Tiny-Häuser und eine Ferienwohnung zur Verfügung.

Dabei solltet Ihr aber schon einige Monate im Voraus buchen wie uns Christian Geßler verrät……
Trotz der großen Nachfrage sind aber keine weiteren Häuser geplant…..
Fazit
Wir haben unseren kurzen Urlaub im Tiny-Haus wirklich sehr genossen.
Nach den Ereignisreichen Tagesausflügen an den Bodensee waren wir abends froh in unser gemütliches und ruhiges Tiny-Haus
zurückkehren zu können.
Den Tag hab wir dann des öfteren am Lagerfeuer bei einer roten Wurst und einem Bier ausklingen lassen.
Besonders froh waren wir übrigens darüber, dass wir unsere kleine Sissi mitbringen durften. Sie konnte sich auf dem ganzen Hof frei bewegen und hatte ebenfalls eine tolle Zeit.
