Bukidnon is a paradise for anyone who has ever dreamed of retreating to the peace and quiet of the mountains. Taking its name after the term for highlander or mountain dweller, the landlocked province is surrounded by caves, rising peaks, and roaring rivers. This pastoral plateau is home to 7 indigenous groups, each named after the bodies of water near their initial dwelling places. These days, the province is known for its traditions and cultural, aesthetic, and artistic heritage, as well as nature trails and activities. These attractions can be seen and accessed year-round, but most of the adventure resorts and hotels in Bukidnon fill up with tourists during the Kaamulan Festival.

The Municipality of Maramag Bukidnon AREAL SHOTS
Maramag, officially the Municipality of Maramag (Cebuano: Lungsod sa Maramag; Tagalog: Bayan ng Maramag), is a 1st class municipality in the province of Bukidnon, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 108,293 people.
Maramag from “Ag Ramag”, a contracted Manobo term for “Ag Ramag Ki Dini”, which as freely translated, means “Let us eat our breakfast here.” The story as officially published by the late Prescioso Velez Abellanosa Sr. (a former municipal mayor) goes that the Manobos were constantly in conflict with the Maranaos for supremacy over the locality. Each time they set out for the battle they would stop on the bank of Pulangi River where flat stones that serve as their tables abound the area. Atop of these, they would draw their plans and eat their breakfast. This habit becomes their practice that even in times of peace and as a sign of good faith, these “Lumads”, the natives or early settlers invite others who happen to pass by to partake meals with them. Maramag then was a picnic ground were one can rest and take his meal as a short respite either from travel, trekking, hunting and trapping or from battle.

This is my second time vlogging in this tourist destination here Maramag, Bukidnon but still I'm still amazed and excited every time I am here. But today's video, I want to feature to you changes of the area, the food they served, and their 5,000 tulips replica. It is amazing to be here in this place, I felt that I'm in Netherlands when I first saw an area where it is full of colorful flowers. Though it is not the real one, but for me it is still to be appreciated because at least we experience to see what the real tulips looks like.

Maramag, Bukidnon. Cleanest Public Market in the Philippines and Other Attractions.
We stayed in Maramag, Bukidnon for several days and explored its many attractions.
On top of the list is its immaculately clean public market that actually looks better than some of the department stores in Metro Manila. Its wet market is actually clean and dry, and does not have the smell of fish and meat. You can actually sleep on its floor.
We also went around the municipality and got some breath-taking views overlooking Mt. Kalatungan, the 5th highest mountain in the Philippines, and saw endless fields planted with pineapples, sugar canes, and corns.
We visited its dairy farms, huge integrated bus terminal, old and new municipal halls, church and met many of its friendly and hospitable people. We also got to taste the best fruits of the highlands, such as lanzones, marang, durian and pineapples.
Maramag is truly the best place to meet the 'cowboys' of Bukidnon!
