Sariaya is comprised of 43 barangays; of which, six (6) are urban barangays which are located in the Poblacion, while the rest of the 37 barangays are rural barangays. Based on the PSA Census of 2015, Sariaya has a total population of 148,980 or 34,592 households. Barangay Sampaloc Santo Cristo has the highest population with a total of 8,054; while Barangay Sampaloc Bogon has the least population with a total of 907.
The urban area or the “Poblacion” consisting of six (6) barangays, had a total population of 10,138 or 6.80% of the municipal population, while the rural area with 37 barangays had 138,842 persons, or 93.20% of the total population. Among the barangays in the urban area, Poblacion 4 has the highest population with a total of 3,386 persons. On the other hand, the thickly populated barangays in the rural areas were Sampaloc Santo Cristo, Manggalang 1, Concepcion Palasan, Castañas, Sampaloc 2 and Mamala II.

We started our trip from Biñan, Laguna bound for Sariaya, Quezon.
We also talk about beginner motorcycle tips when choosing a motorcycle for your skill level.

Hello greetings, folks and neighbors
from Laguna and Cavite towns
From South Luzon, and Southern Tagalog
Ahhh, I’m kind of excited.
This is one of the first long rides we’ll be doing after the
pandemic [lockdowns].
It’s going to be a hometown…
Homebound ride
We always frequent Sariaya, Quezon
But we’re visiting my cousins.
We had work. We still had to catch a deadline but we made it. And we’ll make it.
We have a father’s day celebration, especially because we had so many father’s who passed away during the Pandemic.
It’s going to be a heartwarming celebration for this year. I think it also applies to a lot of us.
A number of our family members have passed away this year, I’d say.
We hope you’ll accompany us on our trip. We’re bound for Sariaya, Quezon.
That’s my father’s home town. That’s where his siblings live. I have cousins who live there, that makes my roots Tagalog.
Ride safe, and I hope you enjoy the trip.
We’re still in Biñan. It’s a bit traffic since COVID travel ban has already been lifted.
Atleast for inter-regional checkpoints.
Our Sniper 150’s performance is in top shape. It just had it’s oil change.
I’m greeting people who got an upgrade from Sniper 150 to Yamaha Sniper 155.
Yamaha Sniper 155 recently launched its new upgrade.
It’s shorter, it’s lighter, it’s slimmer…
It has increased gas tank capacity…
But we’re not upgrading. Since it isn’t expressway legal.
Intersections here in Biñan are a bit hard to navigate.
It’s a bit hard.
I was able to ride to Sariaya, Quezon way back.
I was using a Bristol 250 Classic back then.
I was also able to try on a Sniper, but only going back.
My thoughts would be…
I think we can also review [Yamaha] Sniper’s usability
It’s actually good for long rides.
And to be honest…
Back when I owned a Bristol Classic 250, I wasn’t able to use its full capacity because it was above my skill level when I first started.
[It was also a bit heavy]
Let’s talk about Skill Level buzzwords in motorcycling.
Skill levels, obviously, is your skill when you motorcycles in general, and for specific motorcycles.
There are [motorcycles] that are user friendly, beginner friendly…
There are intermediate, and advanced [motorcycles]
Ofcourse, it depends on [build, size, weight] of motorcycle engines.
There’s also a factor here in the Philippines,
Streets in our country are quite narrow when you’re first starting out on our public roads.
There’s a lot of moving variables. There’s a lot of possible things you could hit, A lot of vehicles immediately turn…
That makes our skill level requirement here in our Asian traffic higher.
It’s also different when using Highways. Vehicles move really fast, and you can’t just increase your speed when your still a beginner.
The chances of you catching an accident is higher. As they say, accidents happen in a motorcycle rider’s first five months on a motorcycle.
After that [5 month period], the chances of you meeting an accident becomes lower.
At the same time, we can talk this way by now because we now have a microphone!
That’s for our skill level.
I’m saying all these, because I made a shift from [riding] a Yamaha Sniper 150 to a Bristol 250 Classic.
I bought my Bristol motorcycle because I used to live in Metro Manila, I needed something that was bulky.
City roads here in Metro Manila were filled with heavy vehicles; trucks; PUV’s; high density class 3 [vehicles]; like trucks and buses.
I needed something that could drive alongside [these vehicles]
When COVID struck, I had to stay in the province since we had work from home set-ups.
My use case for my Bristol 250 Classic motorcycle, changed.
During my stay in the province, I needed maneuverability.
For example; I needed to drop by the wet market, or during provincial rides, there’s a lot of traffic, and potholes.

Sharing my latest solo camping mga Pakz. Sa sobrang init ng panahon parang gusto kong mag-camp sa Baguio. Pero dahil malayo, naghanap ako ng camping site na malapit lang pero feeling mo nasa Baguio ka na dahil may mga Pine Trees din at malamig ang simoy ng hangin with a view of Mt. Banahaw.

Bale ung breakfast na senerve sa akin ay Tosilog with java rice, fresh cucumber, tomato and lettuce with fresh coffee at yes po, free na un kasama don sa ₱250 na binayaran ko.
Dahil nasarapan ako sa food, hindi na ako nagluto for my lunch, nag-order na lang din ako ng Tapsilog naman at fresh cucumber juice.
