???? Very clean surroundings. The day we arrived, the whole resort is very clean and everything is in order.

???? Clear and Blue Beach. With lots of corals and different kinds of fish specially the clown fish they are proud of.
????Disclaimer: If there is a strong wind and rain, the shoreline will be messy since some of the garbage coming from other areas will be swept in their shoreline. But the beach itself is clear and clean.
HOW TO GET THERE:
???? If you're from Davao City, Its only 2 hrs travel going to Malalag, then 25-30 minutes travel time sea travel using motorized bangka going to Colagsing depending on weather and wind condition. If there is strong wind, expect big waves that according to the bangkero is just Normal????. Dont worry, life jackets are available.
????Note: The best and most convenient way to get to the area is by sea thru bangka from Malalag Port going to Colagsing. The area can be accessed by land but only to limited vehicles preferably Off road vehicles and motorcyles since the road is not yet in good condition.
???? Cars and motorcycles will be parked at Malalag Port just pay Php.100 for 4 wheels and Php.40 for motorcycles. Your vehicles are secured since there are security guards in the area 24 hrs.
???? Payment for bangka is minimum of Php.1000 good for 10 persons back and forth.
???? Check in Time: 2:00pm
???? Check out Time: 12:00pm

Malita, Davao Occidental Road Trip
According to folk etymology, the name Malita is derived from the Spanish word maleta which means suitcase. It is said that purportedly Don Mariano Peralta, a retired veteran of the Spanish–American War who ventured to the place, decided to live on the vast, fertile plain across the river. One day while bodily fording the deep and swift river with his suitcase and other belongings in hand, the force of the current overwhelmed his perilous balance and got swept by the water consequently losing his grip on the suitcase. His frantic shouts of maleta, maleta attracted the attention of the bathing natives who after realizing the situation promptly responded and retrieved the vanishing to settle as Malita. How it came to its present spelling and usage maybe attributed to the natives’ prevalent use of suitcase. Hardly forgetting the shouts of Peralta, the natives later thought the word referred to the land he intended long 'e' sound for the vowels 'i' and 'e'.
Malita is the oldest community in the province. Malita's existence dates back scores of years before its formal creation as municipality on November 17, 1936. Records show that Malita must have existed long before the passage of the Philippine Commission Act, the Laws of the Moro Province that mentioned Malita in Section 1 of Act No. 164 dated December 10, 1904. Through the said Act it is presumed that it existed as a barrio of Santa Cruz long before the coming of the Americans to Davao. Executive Order No. 64 issued by President Manuel L. Quezon officially created Malita into a municipality. Marcelino Maruya, from whom the town of Don Marcelino was named after, was the first appointed municipal mayor.

???? Shower Rooms need to be improved since blurred eyes po ako tapos sira pa ang light
???? Public Sink also need to be repaired and improved since may mga sira na po
???? So far the Place is Clean (garbage's are in place)
???? Overall Experience is 6 out of 10

Here is our complete video during our road trip from Malita to Digos City via Sulop in this video, I will show you the latest update on the road condition along the way, traversing of (N930) Davao - Sarangani Coastal Road & (N1;AH26) Digos - Makar Road.
There are two province of Davao del Sur additional at the sub-province of Davao Occidental.
The fifth episode of Davao Sur & Occidental Adventour, starts from Davao Occidental Provincial Capitol in Brgy. Lais, Malita to Davao del Sur Provincial Capitol in Brgy. Matti, Digos City. This is an estimated 92.8Km within 2Hrs drive.
It was planned to make a single video from Malita to Davao City but will be about 3Hrs play time & will just bore the viewers so it was split in 2 sections: Episode 8 - Malita to Digos City & Episode 9 - Digos City to Davao City.

Here is our complete video during our road trip from Davao City to Malita via Digos City - Sulop in this video, I will show you the latest update on the road condition along the way, traversing of (N1;AH26) Davao - Cotabato Road, Digos - Makar Road & (N930) Davao - Sarangani Coastal Road and we are visit to Davao Occidental Provincial Capitol.
There are two province of Davao del Sur additional at the sub-province of Davao Occidental.
The fourth episode of Davao Sur & Occidental Adventour, starts from Davao City Overland Transport Terminal in Davao City to Malita via Digos. This is an estimated 135+Km within 3.5Hrs drive.
We drove straight to Davao Occidental as we are going to do a round trip so the Provincial Capitol visits were done on the way back.

Best route to Locate the exact location is first reach to Sta.Cruz Davao proper from Sta cruz its 1 hour 9minutes to go. We google map it from where we came from. Once the google map said you reached your destination then it is, its just that this is very hidden from the road you have to walk down all the way to the Falls
There is no proper walkway going down to the Falls.
It was worth a visit. The falls is spectacular in person.

Davao del Sur is a province in the Philippines located in the Davao Region in Mindanao. Its capital is Digos City.
The beginnings of both Davao Region and Davao del Sur were associated with the foundation of Davao, which was the first town to be founded in southern Mindanao in 1848, following the conquest of the area by José Uyanguren of the Basque province of Gipuzkoa, Spain (Guipúzcoa in Spanish). In 1849, Nueva Guipúzcoa province was founded in the region conquered by Uyanguren in what is now Davao Region, with Davao, then called Nueva Vergara, as the provincial capital. Uyanguren became the provincial governor, but he failed in his efforts to develop Nueva Guipúzcoa.
Thirty-six years after the foundation of Davao, the town of Santa Cruz was founded on October 5, 1884. It is the first town to be founded south of Davao and is now the oldest in the province.
The Spanish administration in the Philippines ended in 1898 following the defeat of the Spaniards during the Spanish–American War. In the early 1900s, waves of immigrants from the Visayas, Luzon, and as well as from Japan began to live in the region, centered mainly in Davao. The region began to boom in economic growth as agricultural business proliferated in the region.
As part of the food bowl of what is now the province of Davao del Sur, otherwise known as the Padada Valley, the agricultural area south of the town of Santa Cruz, which is known as Digos that time, lured many migrants, majority of whom came from the Visayas and Ilocos regions to settle permanently in the area. Before World War II, an enterprising American by the name of N.E. Crumb leased 10.24 square kilometres (3.95 sq mi) and transformed the place into an abaca plantation. This became the hub of economic activity in the locality during those days.
In 1942, during the start of the World War II in the Pacific, the first waves of invading Japanese units landed and entered the province of southern Davao.[further explanation needed]
In 1945, the liberation of southern Davao by United States and Philippine Commonwealth troops was supported by Davaoeño guerrilla fighters.
In 1967, Davao Province was divided into three provinces, one of them being Davao del Sur; the town of Digos was made its capital and would become a suburban city for the next 33 years.
On October 28, 2013, along with the Barangay Elections, a plebiscite was held to create a new province Davao Occidental, formed out of the southern part of Davao del Sur, covering the municipalities of the 2nd district of the province, namely Don Marcelino, Jose Abad Santos, Santa Maria, Sarangani and Malita (which was designated as the provincial capital) by virtue of Republic Act 10360 enacted on July 23, 2013, and the majority of votes cast were Yes, ratifying the province.[3]
In 2015, the National Competitiveness Council, ranked the province as the most competitive province in the country.
Davao del Sur covers a total area of 2,163.98 square kilometres (835.52 sq mi)[4] occupying the southwestern section of the Davao Region in Mindanao. When Davao City is included for geographical purposes, the province's land area is 4,607.59 square kilometres (1,779.00 sq mi).[4] The province is bounded by Davao del Norte to the north; Davao Occidental to the south-east; North Cotabato and Sultan Kudarat to the west; South Cotabato and Sarangani to the south-west ; and the Davao Gulf to the east.
The province is composed of sandy beaches and outlying islands, agricultural plains and valleys, rainforests, swamps, rolling hills and mountains, including the Philippines' highest peak, Mount Apo, which is at 2,954 metres (9,692 ft) above sea level
