In this video, first, we are going to talk about what tourists find the most annoying on the Azores (from what I have heard from them the most) and then, a couple of things to consider if you are planning to move here full time.

Farol da Maia, Santa Maria | Viewpoints | Azores Top 10 Things To Do
Gonçalo Velho Lighthouse is located at the tip of the Castle, in the parish of Santo Espírito, municipality of Vila do Porto, on the island of Santa Maria, in the Azores.
Although its position was already referenced in the General Plan of Alumiamento of 1883, the lighthouse only began to function on November 15, 1927. Having all the lighthouses in the archipelago received their names according to the location where they were installed, it was named of Lighthouse of Ponta do Castelo.
On March 3, 1930, it was renamed Farol de Gonçalo Velho. Shortly afterwards, in 1934 a second habitation was erected because it was considered that the stocking of two Faroleiros.
