Asud (Temples on hillock):
Two ancient temples namely Keshavraj and Vyaghreshwar which are cocooned by the dense surroundings and gushing streams provide a pleasant spot to the tourist.
Murud & Karade:
Silent and secluded places like Murud and Karade situated near Dapoli epitomize the real beauty of the town. With palm-fringed beaches and greenery all around, Murud and Karade are the must visit spots near Dapoli. Popularly known for Durga Devi Mandir, Dolphin-spotting and parasailing are two activities to entertain the guests.
Anjarle:
Feel the real beauty of the village in Anjarle. The 'Kadyavarcha Ganapati' known as the Ganapati of Hill offers spiritual bliss while the pristine beaches offer a soothing holiday. Food enthusiast can have gala time during fish auction that takes place in Harnai every evening.
Ladghar:
Red Sea- If you want to watch the fascinating sunset, then 'Tamas Teerth' is the place to be. One can see the beautiful shades and also get a holy feel with a bath in the holy waters of the sea.
Dabhol Port:
Thousand year old ancient rock cut caves designed in a very intricate manner offer a pleasing site to the tourists.
Panhalekaji Caves/ Unhavare Hot Water Springs:
Ancient, rock cut caves believed to be more than a thousand years old are a treat to architecture lovers. Hindu and Buddhist sculptures cover the walls. These caves are located on the banks of the Kotjai river. Upstream this river, situated amidst a picturesque valley, you can bathe in natural hot springs. The water is believed to have medicinal value to cure some skin diseases.

Ep 3: Murud Janjira, Diveagar, Shrivardhan beach to Harihareshwar | Konkan Tour, Coastal Maharashtra
This video is about our journey that started from Murud Janjira near Alibaug, we went to Diveagar beach and then finally reached our destination Harihareshwar in Raigad district of Maharashtra.
This episode was shot on 19th Sept, We started the Konkan tour from Mumbai on 17th sept and reached Goa on 2nd Oct.
Following are the key activities done by us during this episode.

Murud beach visit followed by breakfast at Patil Khaneval in Murud, Poha - Rs 30 & Alu Vadi - Rs 50 for 5 pcs.
Proceeded towards Janjira Fort - 4 km from Murud, Imran (boatman) - 7057379538. We could not visit Janjira fort as it was closed for tourists, During monsoon time you cannot visit fort.
Janjira to Agardanda - 5 km from Janjira village, we took ferry to Dighi beach from Agardanda Jetty. Then we proceeded around 15 km towards Diveagar beach.
Diveagar On Holiday - Rs 1200 for double occupancy, for extra bed it is Rs 200 per person. Contact person - Siddhes kosabe - 7769962779 ( homestay owner)
After visiting the Diveagar beach we visited the Shrivardhan beach, Raj Holiday Homestay at Shriwardhan, Rajendra wani - 9881857960 ( Homestay owner)
There is an MTDC resort at Harihareshwar - we did the night stay here. There are different categories of rooms here in this resort, rates may vary depending upon weekday or weekend or Holidays or off-season or peak season. We paid Rs 2800 plus tax without a meal, in the coming days, the rates will include a meal as well. There are also a few huts, which would cost you around - Rs 3200 plus taxes.

Murud, popularly known as Murud Janjira is a coastal village located in the Raigad district of Maharashtra. Surrounded by ancient forts, sandy beaches, betel palms and coconut trees, this is one of the fastest growing tourist destinations in Maharashtra.
The prime attraction of this place is the Janjira Fort. The fort was constructed by the Siddi Dynasty in the 12th century. It is believed that Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj tried six times to capture the fort and failed every time. It houses a mosque, many palaces, quarter for officers and a water tank. The other tourist places to visit are Murud Beach, Nawab Palace, Bassein Fort, Bassein Beach, Kasa Fort and more. Winter months from October to February are the best to visit Murud Janjira.

Murud-Dapoli Beach
At a distance of 11 km from Dapoli, 12 km from Anjarle, 69 km from Chiplun, Murud-Dapoli Beach is a serene beach situated near Dapoli in the Ratnagiri district of Maharashtra. Located between Hernai and Karde beaches, it is one of the most visited beaches in Maharashtra, and among the must-visit places as part of Chiplun Tour.
Commonly called Murud-Harnai, Murud is a small town located on the rugged Konkan coastline. A long, scenic stretch of Murud Beach with swaying palms is the main attraction here. Murud Beach is made of very soft sand and is safe for swimming. The sunset at the beach is mesmerizing and makes up for the most picture-perfect moment in this destination. Activities like parasailing, dune buggy rides, camel rides, horse-cart rides, and water scooters are available. Dolphin watching boats leave early in the morning to take tourists out into the sea to watch dolphins. One can also dig into some local food items at the many eateries at the beach.
There is also an ancient Durga Devi temple near Murud Beach, which was built in the 18th century. The wooden carvings of the temple are worth watching. A large bell hangs above the left side of the entrance. It is said that after winning the battle of Vasai, Chimaji Appa - the great Maratha warrior had brought that bell from one of the churches. The temple also has a lovely pond with refreshingly cold water behind.

Murud-Dapoli Beach
At a distance of 11 km from Dapoli, 12 km from Anjarle, 69 km from Chiplun, Murud-Dapoli Beach is a serene beach situated near Dapoli in the Ratnagiri district of Maharashtra. Located between Hernai and Karde beaches, it is one of the most visited beaches in Maharashtra, and among the must-visit places as part of Chiplun Tour.
Commonly called Murud-Harnai, Murud is a small town located on the rugged Konkan coastline. A long, scenic stretch of Murud Beach with swaying palms is the main attraction here. Murud Beach is made of very soft sand and is safe for swimming. The sunset at the beach is mesmerizing and makes up for the most picture-perfect moment in this destination. Activities like parasailing, dune buggy rides, camel rides, horse-cart rides, and water scooters are available. Dolphin watching boats leave early in the morning to take tourists out into the sea to watch dolphins. One can also dig into some local food items at the many eateries at the beach.
There is also an ancient Durga Devi temple near Murud Beach, which was built in the 18th century. The wooden carvings of the temple are worth watching. A large bell hangs above the left side of the entrance. It is said that after winning the battle of Vasai, Chimaji Appa - the great Maratha warrior had brought that bell from one of the churches. The temple also has a lovely pond with refreshingly cold water behind.
