Letonya'nın başkenti Riga'da yaşayan, Türkiyeli bir çiftiz. Seyahat etmeyi, yemek yemeyi, içmeyi, araştırmayı, hayal etmeyi, doğayı, keşfetmeyi seviyoruz. Bir de evimizi iki kediyle paylaşıyoruz. Uzunca bir süredir, YouTube üzerinden hem kendi deneyimlerimizi, hem de başka ülkelerde yaşayan arkadaşlarımızın deneyimlerini sizlerle paylaşıyoruz.
Aslına bakarsanız ilgi alanları, zevkleri, yemek tercihleri birbirine pek de uymayan, ancak çok iyi anlaşan bir çiftiz. İlişkimiz, 'siyahla beyazın uyumu', 'zıt kutupların çekimi' gibi kalıplara girebilir, ama biz bir kalıba sokmayı yeğlemiyoruz. Misal, Akşama ne yesek denilse birimizin cevabı et, diğerimiz ki ot oluyor. Birimiz yolları, sokakları, diğerimiz evde olma halini seviyor. Kısacası bol bol yürümek/yayıla yayıla oturmak, yeni insanlar tanımak/hayatımıza daha az insan sokmak gibi pek çok konuda çelişiyoruz. Ancak orta yolda buluşmayı, birbirimize anlayış göstermeyi, saygı duymayı, alan açmayı beceriyoruz. Aramızdaki farklılıklar çekişmemize değil, her gün birbirimizden yeni şeyler öğrenmemize, farklı deneyimler edinmemize, kendimizi geliştirmemize yol açıyor. Bu da bizi iki iyi yol ve hayat arkadaşı yapıyor.
Letonya'yı, yerleşmeden önce görme şansımız olmadı. Kişi başı sadece otuz kilo eşya taşıma hakkımız vardı. Kitaplar, albümler, harddiskler gibi bir yığın eşya arasından hatırı sayılır bir eleme yapmamız gerekiyordu.
