In today's video I am meeting up with Magnificent Germany with Darion in Schweinfurt,Germany to explore this Bravaian gem.
Destination 2019: Herrenberg
The small town of Herrenberg lies just south of Stuttgart, and boasts a well-preserved historic centre, a chance to see the church bells close up, and pleasant walks in the country. It's just a bit inconvenient that parts of it are built on a hill that moves.

Walking in SCHWEINFURT / Germany ????????- 4K 60fps (UHD)
Schweinfurt / Germany is a Bavarian town in the district of Lower Franconia.
The city is home to many students thanks to the University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt. On this evening (in October 2020) the city center is mostly empty.
We start our tour at the city walls (Am Unteren Wall), explore the market place with the old town hall. We see much of the city center like the St. Johannis church.
The tour continues outside the inner center passing the art hall of Schweinsfurt (Kunsthalle Schweinfurt) as we reach the Chateaudun Park. There in the Western corner of the center we can also see some of the city walls.
We return to the center and see some of the shopping streets like Keßlergasse and Spitalstraße.
Via Schultestraße we head South-West, pass the Holy Ghost Church (Heilig Geist Kirche) and are well on our way to the Schweinfurt Mitte Train Station. It appears we have some more time so we check out the Main (river) where some swans and ducks are waiting for food.

MÜNNERSTADT eine kleine aber geschichtsträchtige Stadt im Landkreis Bad Kissingen. Bei einem kurzen Zwischenstopp haben wir das historische Städtchen in der fränkischen Rhön entdeckt.

Not a tourist attraction, but a quaint German town rich in history like most other towns that dot the landscape. Located in North part of Bayern (Bavaria), Münnerstadt has wonderful half-timbered houses, cobblestone streets, old towers, and parts of the wall that once assisted in their defense. It also holds a special place for me as I would visit family there both as a child and an adult.

Anfang November 2021 sind wir in Münnerstadt zu Gast bei Freunden. Wir nutzen die Gelegenheit um eine kleine Rundumaufnahme der wunderschönen Natur im bayrischen Herbst einzufangen. Es ist trüb, aber die Natur strahlt wunderbar. Münnerstadt hat eine bezaubernde Altstadt die zum Verweilen einlädt. Über den Altstadtweg lässt sie der historische Stadtkern erkunden.
Wir freuen uns auf den nächsten Besuch im Frühling 2022?.

This is a video I took while I was in Germany. Everyone was asleep but I was awake and this video will show you why. :)
The German Town That's Breaking Apart
Since 2008, the centre of the city has reported to have risen some 12 cm, after initially sinking a few millimeters. This has caused considerable damage to buildings in the city centre, including the historical town hall. One hypothesis for the cause of this geological change is a drilling operation conducted in the spring of 2007 to provide geothermal heating to the city hall. The drilling perforated an anhydrite layer and caused high-pressure groundwater to come into contact with the anhydrite, which then began to expand. Currently no end to the rising process is in sight. By 2010 some sections of town had risen by 30 cm.
