It is located in the central part of Henan Province, adjacent to Zhoukou City in the east, Luohe City in the south, Pingdingshan City in the west, Zhengzhou City in the north, and Kaifeng City in the northeast; it has 2 districts, 2 cities (county level), and 2 counties under its jurisdiction, with a total area of 4,996 square kilometers [60]. Located in the Central Plains, Xuchang has a long history and is an important birthplace of Chinese culture, one of the core cities of the Central Plains City Cluster and the Central Plains Economic Zone . The ancient cultures of Xuchang include the prehistoric culture series, the Han culture series, the Three Kingdoms culture series, the temple architecture culture series, and the Jun porcelain culture series.
Downtown Xuchang is 80 km from the provincial capital Zhengzhou and 50 km from Xinzheng International Airport, with National Highway 311 and local railroads running east to west; Beijing-Guangzhou Railway, Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway, and National Highway 107 running north to south; it is a regional political, economic, and cultural center in central Henan Province, and occupies an important position in the economic and social development of Henan Province. As of June 2020, Zhoukou City has 2 districts, 7 counties and 1 county-level city under its jurisdiction, with a total area of 11,959 square kilometers; the resident population is 9,026,015,000.
Zhoukou City is well-connected, with roads, railroads and waterways intertwined into a network, forming a large transportation pattern with a trinity of roads, railroads and waterways. The Sha Ying River has been a navigable river since ancient times, with two major cargo terminals built at Zhoukou and Liuwan, which enter the Huai River and converge with the Yangtze River. So friends, through the series of videos in my channel, I want to share my travelling experience and how I felt this wonderful country and people.
China, or “Zhonghua” is the largest of all Asian countries and has the largest population of any country in the world. Occupying nearly the entire East Asian landmass, it covers approximately one-fourteenth of the land area of Earth. Among the major countries of the world, China is surpassed in area by only Russia and Canada, and it is almost as large as the whole of Europe.
Beijing is the capital of the China and the cultural, economic, and communications centre of the country. Shanghai is the main industrial city and Xi’an is one of the historical city in China.
Within China’s boundaries exists a highly diverse and complex country. Its topography encompasses the highest and one of the lowest places on Earth and its relief varies from nearly impenetrable mountainous terrain to vast coastal lowlands. Its climate ranges from extremely dry, desert like conditions in the northwest to tropical monsoon in the southeast, and China has the greatest contrast in temperature between its northern and southern borders of any country in the world.
Probably the single most identifiable characteristic of China to the people of the rest of the world is the size of its population. Some one-fifth of humanity is of Chinese nationality. The great majority of the population is Chinese (Han), and thus China is often characterized as an ethnically homogeneous country, but few countries have as wide a variety of indigenous peoples as does China. Even among the Han there are cultural and linguistic differences between regions; for example, the only point of linguistic commonality between two individuals from different parts of China may be the written Chinese language. Because China’s population is so enormous, the population density of the country is also often thought to be uniformly high, but vast areas of China are either uninhabited or sparsely populated.
With more than 4,000 years of recorded history, China is one of the few existing countries that also flourished economically and culturally in the earliest stages of world civilization. Much of China’s cultural development has been accomplished with relatively little outside influence, the introduction of Buddhism from India constituting a major exception.
During my stay, I was so lucky to visit some of the very famous and attractive location in China such as the Great Wall, Terra Cotta Army, Longman Grottos, Furong Garden, Pagoda squire, Xi’an City wall, White horse temple and Shaolin Temple etc. Also I got my first winter experience during my stay in China.

Aerial China：Ningbo Xiangshan Port Cross-sea Bridge
The Shangang Bridge is a river crossing channel connecting Yunlong Town and Xiaoweizhuang Bridge in Yinzhou District, Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province, China.
Xiangshan Port Bridge starts from Yunlong Town, Yinzhou District in the north and ends at Xiaoweizhuang Bridge in the south. The total length of the line is 6.7 kilometers. The bridge deck is designed as a two-way four-lane expressway with a design speed of 100 kilometers per hour.

The Xiangshan Port Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge with double towers and double cable planes. The platform foundation is made of steel pipe piles and steel casings. The outer surfaces of the steel pipe piles and steel casings are subject to anti-corrosion treatment according to the design requirements. Considering the water flow rate during ebb and flow, the outermost steel pipes of the transverse bridge are set as inclined piles to enhance the overall stability of the steel pipe piles and the platform. The flat joints and diagonal braces are made of steel, and the flat joints between the guard tubes also serve as the supporting corbels of the Bailey beam. The main distribution beam is made of Bailey; the top distribution beam is steel, and the panel is made of patterned steel plate. Design Parameters:
The design wind resistance requirement of Xiangshan Port Bridge reaches 46.5 meters per second, which can resist the impact of 14-level typhoon, and the wind resistance is the highest in China; the bridge's navigation level is 50,000 tons, which is the highest in China; the pier of the main tower of the bridge can withstand 50,000 tons The anti-collision level of the tonnage ship was the highest in China; the bridge's navigable net height of 53 meters was the highest in China at that time.
The Xiangshan Port Bridge adopts the standard construction of two-way four-lane expressway, the design speed is 100 km/h, the main tower is 225.5 meters high, the span is arranged as (82+262+688+262+82) meters, and the main pier foundation adopts 41 D3 .0m/D2.7m bored pile foundation, determinant arrangement, the pile lengths are 120m and 98m respectively. Design high water level: +4.19m, design low water level: -2.73m, design flow rate: 1.72m/s, wave height: 1.8m, design wind speed: 40.92m/s, platform top elevation: +8.5m (meet the construction drawings The top elevation of the platform should be 3 meters above the highest water level).
