Erlangen 2022 - A Walking Tour of a Beautiful German City ????????
Erlangen / Germany is a Bavarian city in the Franconian area of the state. With a bit more than 110.000 inhabitants, Erlangen is the smallest of a total of eight large cities in Bavaria. Erlangen is home to a university which we will see on this walking tour.
We start our Erlangen tour after arriving at the train station. We quickly are at the Hugenottenplatz to with the Hugenotten Church. From there we head south to the city center, passing the Neustädter Kirche.
From the city center we get to the Schlossgarten Erlangen which is pretty during fall with all the colorful foliage. This garden faces the baroque palace, which now part of the local university. Some statues from the 1700s can also be seen there.
Back to the inner city center we explore more smaller streets around the university and get to the northern area up until the Altstädter Trinity Church (Altstädter Dreifaltigkeitskirche)
At last we head back to the starting point of our tour - the Erlangen train station and end this Erlangen walking tour.

#Grob109B Motor off landing on a a Grob 109B. My plane will glide about 28 KM without a motor on 1000 meter of height. This landing was smooth, soft and no motor to correct anything and then kissing the ground ????. I do not have this Grob that long, so it is always a bit exiting to do this the first time! Motor on-off a few times on 2000 meter then landing from city of Lingen to city Nordhorn direction. The first time I did this, was in France (Saint Girons) at the demo tour with the previous owner, see the end screen link in the video. That was more spectaculair from the mountains to the valley. The approach is over the north from the city of Lingen and then Lohne for downwind, base and final on the 05 Grassstrip of EDWN.
