Loei, Thailand
Loei in northeast Thailand is a populated, mountainous province.
Situated near the Mekong River. South of the laid-back capital, Loei, is the biodiverse Phu Kradueng National Park. Trails pass waterfalls and sandstone cliffs on their way up the huge plateau of Phu Kradueng mountain. North of the park are the striking eroded limestone formations of Suan Hin Pha Ngam, or “Beautiful Rock Garden.”

Top Attractions in Loei Province Thailand and Chiang Khan
Drone footage covering the top attractions in Loei and Chiang Khan (Isaan/Northeastern Thailand including the Walking Street (Chai Khong Road) and main tourist area and attractions better known as Walking Street, which runs parallel to the Mekong River and Laos. Where much of the charm comes in mornings with a procession of monks collecting alms (Tak Baht/Bintabaht) along Chiang Khan’s walking street (between 06:00 AM and 08:00 AM) from surrounding temples. Further out in Loei is Phu Pa Por Mountains (ภูป่าเปาะ เลย) with drone footage over Thailand's Kunming and Mount Fuji 2 which are famous landmarks in these scenic parts of Loei Province near the Laos border. Also views from above Huai Krathing Reservoir in Loei, Isaan (Northeastern Thailand) taken by drone over the lake and reservoir surrounded by mountains. And the lake boat cruises below which host eating and dinners up until 17:30PM daily. These off the beaten track attractions in Loei are in Thailand’s Northeastern (Isaan) region.

Revealing the Land of Mystic Culture : Loei, Thailand
Ultimate ISAN Feast In Loei Thailand | Tourists Don't Eat This ????????
We are in Chiang Khan again today in the Loei province of Thailand. Loei is officially in the Isan region of Thailand which means there is lots of amazing Isan Food!
Today we headed out of Chiang Khan center to a Isan restaurant specialising in duck items! On the way we met lots of nice friendly thai locals as always.
First we got a duck laab, a spicy Isan meat Salad with a mixture of duck meats, this was seriously good.
We got some grilled pork neck and dipping sauce which is essential to any Isan Feast in my opinion. The meat was so fatty and delicious.
Then we ordered something quite interesting! Fried whole duck mouths! These were extremely strange and definitely a beer snack, they were super crunchy with loads of different textures, I'd say they are a ducks answer to pork crackling.
We then try the infamous papaya salad with fermented fish sauce and salted crab, a food that foreigners won't eat and I have no idea why because it was absolutely delicious.
Oh yeah we also had some chicken wings which were incredibly juicy and succulent, everything eaten with sticky rice of course!
The food here was so good very affordable!
We love Thai food and especially Isan food ????????❤️

On the way home we stopped at the smoothie man's truck because he was a bit of a legend and we got a coconut and lime smoothie which was honestly amazing.
