Bus Spotting In Bambang, Nueva Vizcaya!!
Bambang, officially the Municipality of Bambang (Gaddang: Ili na Bambang; Ilocano: Ili ti Bambang; Tagalog: Bayan ng Bambang), is a 1st class municipality in the province of Nueva Vizcaya, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 55,789 people.
The municipality is known for its salt springs at the Salinas Natural Monument.
Bambang is 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) from Bayombong and 250 kilometres (160 mi) from Manila.Bambang was originally inhabited by the Igorot and Panuypuyes (Aritao), the Ilongots (Dupax and Bambang), and the lgorot in the area west from the present native population of Dupax, Aritao, and Bambang came about by the inter-marriages of the tribes mentioned above and the merging of settlements by the Spanish Bambang itself was officially recognized as a town by the Spanish on July 5, 1747. Located initially in the present-day village of San Fernando, it was moved to its present location in 1777.
In 1988, the town's mayor, Benjamin Cuaresma, was abducted and assassinated by the New People's Army on the eve of local elections. He was then succeed by his widow, Luisa Lloren Cuaresma, who went on to become governor and representative of Nueva Vizcaya.

Exploring a cave of the martyred hidden Christians of North Japan
I'm sorry about the audio for some parts of this. Accidentally had a wind reduction setting on, which made it like that. Won't happen again!

The entrance really is hard to find, and I don't recommend visiting really, but if you are really interested to see it in person, you could go.
There's another site in southern Iwate where 300 Christians were killed all at once around the beginning of the Edo period. The river was said to have run red with blood that day. In fact, there are a number of sites up here relating to the hidden Christians.
I'm interested in this somewhat dark part of Japanese history, as it's a early intersection of cultures that resulted in tragedy. After I read more and find more information I plan to do a more in-depth video on the topic of the hidden Christians in north Japan.

Foraging for wild vegetables with my mountain sensei
We were foraging in the national forest area beyond the Toyosawa dam in Hanamaki, Iwate. We picked shidoke, wasabi, fuki, mizu, urui, and yomogi, though I cut the video down to just showing the shidoke, warabi, and mizu so it wasn't an hour long...
Though I first met him earlier, I started foraging with Haruo-san reguarly just after the Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami in 2011. He's retiring from his main job next year, so we'll be able to go even more often from next, including creating some foraging and cooking tours then! I'll post more on these upcoming tours later!

My First Ice Skating Experience EVERRRRR!!!!!!!
The video was taken on May 12, 2013 (Sunday), just 1 day before the National Election of the Philippines. It was such an exhilarating experience because everything to me was a complete struggle. It was icy cold in SM Mall of Asia Ice Skating Rink but I was perspiring to the max!!!! HAHAHAHAH It was terrible but I had so much fun..... and I WANNA COME BACK!!!!!
