10 Places You Must Visit in Ireland

The first thing that comes to mind when most people think of Ireland is its lush green countryside. And there’s no doubt that the Irish landscape is one of its biggest draws. But there’s more to Ireland than just its rural idylls. The country is also home to some of the most vibrant and exciting cities in Europe. Dublin, the capital, is a must-see, with its medieval castles, Georgian architecture, and lively nightlife. Cork, Galway, and Belfast are also well worth a visit.

Bray Harbour in IRELAND

#Bray #Harbour #Ireland #ExploreIreland
Bray Harbour is located at the mouth of the Dargle River, in the Little Bray locality. It is approximately ten miles south of Dublin Bay, and is the most northern harbour in Co. Wicklow. The harbour is utilised for solely marine leisure activities. It is a popular area for leisurely walks, with many people taking time out to enjoy the swan sanctuary.
Although it is a small harbour, it is a vibrant and active one with many leisure activities taking place throughout the year. The clubs utilising this amenity include Bray Sailing Club, Bray Sea Anglers, Bray Sea Scouts, Bray Youth services, Row-A-Round and Bray Veteran Kayakers. There is a large active membership in these clubs. A local water sports adventure company also arranges and manages their many water activities in the harbour.
Bray Train Station is a short distance walk away from this busy marine facility. A coffee shop and bistro are located beside the harbour, with many more restaurants and amenities situated on the Bray seafront, which is adjacent to the harbour.

Travel vlog: The Great Sugarloaf Mountain and Bray, Ireland | hike, 2022, Gym + Coffee event

I went to a hiking event organised by an indigenous Irish brand Gym + Coffee for their 5th year anniversary, a few weeks ago. It was a well planned event with music, free coffee and free G+C beanies. I enjoyed the hike with my family as a family outing and also to kick start 2022 with good vibes!

The hike took place at The Great Sugarloaf Mountain in Co.Wicklow. It is considered a novice trail but being as unfit as I was it was difficult! Nonetheless, it was an enjoyable day out with the family and away from the study desk! Not to mention that the weather was actually very accommodating on the day with sunshine and no rain!

From the mountain, we took a detour to Bray beach before heading home. I have always found the sound of waves healing and tranquil. It allows me to forget momentarily about all my stressed and worries.
Overall, it was a great day!

Dublin Vacation Travel Guide | Expedia

Dublin – where history and heritage thrive, and good cheer abounds. Check out the top sights and stories of the capital city and start planning a trip of your own!

When ready, browse vacation packages to Dublin:

Despite a long and sometimes tragic history of invasion and resistance, this thriving business capital has poetry, music and literature percolating through its cobblestones.

While #Dublin proudly honours its past, it is equally passionate about enjoying each and every new day. Nowhere is life celebrated more than in the city’s nearly 700 pubs.

Of all the gifts, Dublin has given to the world, perhaps the most intoxicating are its stories. Originally built for the sons of the Irish gentry, the ivy-covered stone buildings of Trinity College are home to some of the oldest remaining manuscripts in the world, including the 1000-year-old Book of Kells.

Dubliner Jonathan Swift, once said, “May you live all the days of your life.” There is no better way to define Dublin. Its passion for life is contagious, captivating and sure to stay with you after your #vacation here for the rest of your days.

For now, we hope you enjoy watching this #travel #guide as much as we enjoyed making it.
