Social Practice for Chinese and Foreign university students
With the original inspiration to cast great deeds, and a hundred years of youth, and in response to Secretary General Xi Jinping's call to encourage foreign students to go around China more, the summer social practice team of Zhejiang University of Science and Technology launched a social practice week for Chinese and foreign students with the theme of perceiving Zhejiang feelings and understanding Huaxia beauty.
On the morning of July 28th, Chinese and foreign students visited Linping Grand Theatre and Yishang Town, attending the cultural relics exhibition Centennials of Struggle and Leaping New Linping and learning the detailed information of Yishang Town as well as big digital economy and data operation on the operating screen of Evely International Art and Design Exchange Center. Through these activities, Chinese and foreign students are expected to learn more about China’s development and become the cultural ambassador to tell the relevant stories to the world.

Hangzhou is one of China's seven ancient capitals and has been designated a Historic and Cultural City by the government.
Its history can be traced back over 2,200 years to the Qin dynasty (221-206 BC). It flourished after being linked with the north via the Grand Canal, which starts in Beijing and ends in Hangzhou.
From 907 to 978 AD, Hangzhou was the capital of the Wuyue Kingdom during the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms Period. Then in 1132 it became the capital of the Southern Song dynasty (1127-1279).

Introduction
Tangqi is a county-level town located on the north side of Hangzhou in China's Zhejiang province, 10 kilometers away from the main city of Hangzhou. Tangqi was established 1,000 years ago, and it is famous for its unique fruit called Loquat, also the Prunus mume in the neighborhood area of Chaoshan Mountain.
History & Background
Tangqi Ancient Town has a long history of more than 1,000 years, first built in the Northern Song dynasty (960–1127). It used to be a small fishing village. During the Yuan dynasty, Zhang Shicheng broadened the Grand Canal, and then the local fishermen gradually settled down on both sides, first settling the town.
The Guangji Bridge, an important cultural relic, is a must-see attraction. Its seven-hole stone arch spans across both sides of the Grand Canal like a magnificent rainbow.
