Germany's Most UNDERRATED Town - Lindau at Lake Constance
At Germany's biggest lake, the Bodensee (lake Constance), is one of the best cities to visit in Germany. If you are planning to travel the South of Germany make sure to put it on your route, it's the perfect place if you're looking for an authentic & traditional German experience. There are almost no foreign tourists.
Lindau is in the most southern part of Bavaria on a little island on the lake Constance, directly bordering Austria (by land) and Switzerland (by water). The city is hosting every year the Nobel Laureate Meetings.

Lindau is one of the best places in Bavaria! It's a major town and island on the eastern side of Lake Constance (Bodensee in German) in Bavaria, Germany. The coat of arms of Lindau town is a linden tree, referring to the supposed origin of the town's name (Linde means linden tree in German). The historic town of Lindau is located on the 0.68-square-kilometer (0.26 sq mi) island of the same name which is connected with the mainland by a road bridge and a railway dam leading to Lindau station.
Lindau is a popular tourist attraction in the South of Germany. The gardens of Lindau are best in spring or summer blossom and summer is the peak tourist period. Lindau is famous for its architecture and outdoor attractions such as cycling, sailing, hiking, swimming and camping are also popular.

Hello and greetings from Lake Constance (Bodensee) - a lake bordered by Germany, Switzerland and Austria!
In this video, we’ll be focusing our travels along the German side where we spent a couple of days enjoying what the destination has to offer.
We’ll first take you on a foodie biking tour departing from Radolfzell and touring the Höri Peninsula where we’ll try all sorts of fresh seasonal foods. We’ll spend a bit of time exploring the city of Konstanz on foot. We’ll then hop on a ferry and cross Lake Constance from west to east, enjoying the scenery along the way. Plus, when we arrive in Lindau, we’ll take you on a self-guided wine tour where we’ll hike and enjoy a picnic in a vineyard.

SUMMER AT BODENSEE | Camping in Lindau, Rhine Falls in Switzerland + a Stop in Liechtenstein
THIS LAKE SURROUNDS THREE COUNTRIES(Germany, Austria & Switzerland) & is incredibly beautiful during the Summer! We traveled 4 hours from our home near Grafenwohr to Lake Constance in Southern Germany! We went camping for the first time ever this Summer in Lindau. We took a scenic boat ride(that we almost missed), explored the beautiful old town on Lindau Island, went swimming with the most stunning view of the alps & then ended our night eating good ole ramen noodles… ;) Camping at its finest! We end out this video with a flash forward to our way home from our Switzerland. We stop at Rhine Falls in Switzerland and had a precious moment watching Willa take in Mother Nature! :)

Esta torre mesmo ao lado da Peterskirche, foi no passado uma prisão e torre de vigia. Está fechada ao público mas consegue-se algumas boas fotos, principalmente do telhado que é muito colorido.

Igreja antiga e pequena, o seu interior está praticamente vazio. É possível observar os frescos já um pouco esbatidos. Pode parecer fechada, apenas é necessário empurrar a porta.

Este prédio destaca-se pela sua bela decoração todo ele pintado com diversos elementos. Muito bonito e não deixe de ver as duas fachadas.

Este edifício perde um pouco de protagonismo ao estar mesmo encostado à antiga Rathaus que é muito bonito. Todo ele pintado a vermelho na sua fachada destaca-se um conjunto de sinos.

A torre desta igreja (em conjunto com a da sua vizinha catedral) marcam a paisagem de Lindau, visível a grande distância. O seu exterior é em pedra com formas interessantes mas o interior é simples onde predomina o branco. Ponto de passagem pelo que não custa fazer uma visita.
