Im Bergischen entdeckt sie das grüne Angerbachtal mit seinen Mühlen und der Textilfabrik Cromford, und probiert nahe des Neanderthal Museums ein Steinzeitmenü. Im Zeittunnel in Wülfrath werden 400 Millionen Jahre Erdgeschichte mit allen Sinnen erlebbar. Auch links des Rheins geht Tamina Kallert auf Zeitreisen – nach Zons, auf den Tuppenhof bei Kaarst und auf die Raketenstation Hombroich, auf der die NATO bis zum Ende des Kalten Kriegs Raketensprengköpfe lagerte. Kaiserswerth mit historischer Altstadt und Kaiserpfalz ist der älteste Stadtteil von Düsseldorf und ein beliebtes Naherholungsziel.

Föhr - Die grüne Nordseeinsel | WDR Reisen
Friesische Karibik - so nennen die Einwohner von Föhr ihre Insel. Hier locken nicht nur scheinbar endlose Sandstrände, die zweitgrößte deutsche Nordsee-Insel hat für Familien, Freizeitsportler und eher ruhige Erholungssuchende und Naturfreunde noch viel mehr zu bieten. Daniel Aßmann auf den Spuren von Walfängern: im Friesenmuseum in Wyk wird das Leben der Kapitäne, Steuermänner, Harpuniere und ihrer Familien wieder lebendig. Mit dem Rad erkundet Daniel die Insel, und zwischen prächtigen Friesenhäusern, Deichen und Feldern, Robben und Wildenten entdeckt er sogar ein Weingut mit Meerblick.
Anmerkung: uns ist im Film ein Fehler unterlaufen. Bei Minute 17:10 behauptet Daniel Aßmann: Auf Föhr gibt 2649 Strandkörbe – mehr als Einwohner. Das stimmt so natürlich nicht, Föhr hat über 8.000 Einwohner.

Daniel Aßmann in the footsteps of whalers: in the Frisian Museum in Wyk, the lives of captains, helmsmen, harpooners and their families come back to life. Daniel explores the island by bike, and among splendid Frisian houses, dikes and fields, seals and wild ducks, he even discovers a winery with a sea view.
Note: we made a mistake in the film. At minute 17:10 Daniel Aßmann claims: There are 2649 beach chairs on Föhr - more than residents. Of course that's not true, Föhr has over 8,000 inhabitants.

In this video, we head over to the other side of Lake Garda to show you the northern side including Limone Sul Garda, Riva del Garda and Monte Blado with @Mabelleofficial. This was by far one of the most fun days we had as we started off by renting a boat and exploring some of the area on the lake, then walking around Limone Sul Garda and finishing the evening having a meal in Riva del Garda. The next morning, I woke up early to take you with us up to Monte Baldo cable car.
