Lauingen is a town in the district of Dillingen in Bavaria, Germany. It is located on the left bank of the Danube, 5 km west of Dillingen, and 37 km northeast of Ulm. Most know person of the town is Albertus Magnus an Dominican, bishop and important Aristotelian scholar.
Lauingen has around 11.000 inhabitants.

Augsburg was named a UNESCO World Heritage site in 2019, which is exactly the reason I put together this list of the best things to do in Augsburg. Most international tourists probably never heard of Augsburg before, but the city did play quite an important role in history. The famous Fugger clan had its headquarters here and (indirectly) ruled half of Europe during the Renaissance. As a free city, Augsburg also left its mark on art, especially silver and the goldsmith industry.
From lavish city palaces to magnificent cathedrals, there are just so many places to see in Augsburg.

Driving Germany: St2032 Augsburg - Lauingen - 4K drive through Augsburg Western Woods Nature Park
The 4K road tourism video features a drive on secondary roads through the beautiful Swabia region. We are traversing a hilly area with altitudes between 450-550m and end the drive in the nice historical town of Lauingen, after passing through Dillingen. We are crossing the Augsburg West Woods Nature Park on the way, a forrested area west of the city of Augsburg. As I drove there in fall, there were very nice colors during the drive. Photos from Augsburg and Lauingen are also integrated in the video. Enjoy!

Augsburgo
Enclavada en Baviera a orillas del río Lech poco antes de que desagüe en el Danubio, Augsburgo es una de las ciudades alemanas con una historia más rica e interesante. En la ciudad, patria chica de los banqueros Fugger o los Welser, se celebraron durante el siglo XVI algunas de las dietas imperiales más importantes de la época de la reforma protestante. Allí fue donde Philipp Melanchthon, uno de los principales discípulos de Martin Luther, entonó ante Carlos V la Confesión de Augsburgo. Esa actividad tan febril desde el punto de vista económico y político dejó muchos restos. Algunos aún se conservan en perfecto estado.

NEW in 2018: 5:48 - Lego Star Wars
Legoland Deutschland was opened on May 17, 2002 in Günzburg, Germany. The park opened nine months earlier than planned by Merlin Entertainments Group. On opening year, the park welcomed 1.35 Million visitors. All of the lighting for the park was done by Gallegos Lighting Design which had done the lighting for Legoland California Resort and the sound and video production for the park was done by Edward Technologies Inc. The park features Lego explore centers, roller coasters, water attractions and shows. When it opened in 2002, it contained 40 attractions, 7 themed lands and was made out of 50 million Lego bricks. 10 years later, the park expanded to eight “adventure worlds” with 50 attractions and 55 million Lego bricks. Legoland Deutschland is home to the world's largest Lego building, representing Munich's Allianz Arena and weighing 1.5 tons with dimensions of 5 meters in width and 1 meter in height. Legoland Deutschland also contains many other world records such as the largest Lego flower bed (2007), largest amount of energy generated through cycling underwater (2010), highest Lego tower (2010), largest Lego mosaic (2011), longest Lego millipede (2002), and the largest Lego brick (2005).

Nördlingen. La ciudad de los diamantes. Curiosidades del Mundo
A mediados del siglo XIII, un reducido grupo de pobladores de centroeuropa descubrió un lugar que podía ser ideal para asentarse. En la Edad Media, eran conscientes de que debían encontrar una zona que tuviera una serie de barreras naturales, que pudiera ser amurallada de manera sencilla y desde la que poder tener buena visión para ver si el enemigo se acercaba, era fundamental para sobrevivir. En mitad del bosque, una especie de agujero en pleno suelo podría ser el lugar perfecto para construir una villa duradera: lo que aquellos pobladores no sabían es que, además, estaba lleno de diamantes. Aquellos primeros habitantes de Nördlingen pronto notaron que sus edificaciones brillaban más de lo normal. Sin embargo, no sería hasta el año 1960 cuando se descubrió su verdadero secreto: la propia ciudad era el yacimiento de diamantes más importante del mundo.

Un des plus beaux ponts du monde se trouve en Allemagne
Considéré comme l’un des plus beaux au monde, Rakotzbrücke, ou « le pont du diable », qui semble sorti d’un conte de fée, existe bel et bien.
Situé en Allemagne à environ 6km de la frontière polonaise, ce pont a été construit à la main durant la seconde moitié du 19ème siècle. Pour préserver la beauté exceptionnelle du lieu, un grand soin a été apporté au parc naturel en libre accès qui sert de décor au Rakotzbrücke.
Le pont, réalisé à base de pierres locales, disposent à ses extrémités de colonnes de basaltes. Il s’inspire des édifices naturels présents ailleurs en Allemagne. Sa structure en arc forme un cercle complet lorsqu’elle se reflète dans l’eau. Le but est d’intégrer le Rakotzbrücke harmonieusement dans son environnement.
Sa forme particulière attire de nombreux touristes en quête de découvrir la beauté préservée du Rakotzbrücke. Afin de le protéger le pont du diable, il est interdit de le traverser pour ne pas le fragiliser.

die Ulrichskirche sowie den Fuggerschern Stadtpalast sowie das Brechthaus besichtigt. Natürlich stand auch der Dom auf unserem Programm.

Lauingen - Faimingen Auf den Spuren der Römer!
Das Donaustädtchen Lauingen hat mich positiv überrascht. Eine schöne Altstadt, ein herrlicher Park und viele Höhepunkte auf der Wanderung. Mal auf den Spuren der Römer wandeln! Als alte Lateinerin bin ich begeistert. Allerdings würde ich nicht mehr an der Dillinger Straße entlang laufen, sondern das Wohngebiet. vorziehen. Der Fußweg zum Apollo-Tempel ist zu Recht abgesperrt. Teile des Hangs sind abgebrochen. Es empfiehlt sich über das Wohngebiet zu laufen.
Die Tour ist auch auf Komoot zu finden
