Auctiva visits Alibaba in China
Please watch in HDEach year, Auctiva's parent company, Alibaba, holds a daylong event called Aliday. Aliday is open to employees, as well as friends and family members of Alibaba employees. This year, Auctiva employees were lucky enough to be invited to attend the event!
For the first part of the day, Alibaba opened their Hangzhou, China-based campus to friends and family. Auctiva employees attended a couple morning meetings, then were set free to roam the campus, buy souvenirs, enjoy the free lunch in their massive cafeteria, and take photographs and videos.
For most of the Auctiva staff, the trip to China was a once in a lifetime experience. After the Alibaba festivities, we boarded a bullet train and traveled hundreds to Beijing to take in the sights and sounds of the bustling capital city.
