Pinamungajan is a 2nd-class municipality in the western seaboard of Cebu Island. Located 82 kilometers from Cebu City, the town's name Pinamungajan originated from the visayan word Pinamuhuan which means a share of a worker during harvest season. Now, it is home to 75,131 people (2020 census).
In this video, I am featuring the Pinamungajan-Lamac-Bunga-Lutopan-Talisay City route. Going to the city (Metro Cebu) from the town of Pinamungajan, this route may not have the widest road and to some, they would say not really the safest but this route will get you to the city in a short time. If you come from Aloguinsan or perhaps Barili or even the mountain barangays of Carcar, this route is your fastest way to the metropolis. Bypassing the traffic jam in Carcar, San Fernando, Naga, Minglanilla and Talisay, plus all the sceneries and fresh air you get along the way.
I will also feature some attractions, sceneries and views especially in Lamac-Bunga areas. Unique rock formations, beautiful winding roads, Udlom Falls, Sinungkulan Falls and more! I will also give you directions with maps so you can take this video as your guide if you will be using this route for the first time.
This will be motovlogging style as I am riding my motorcycle Siloy in this video.
Before going to the mountains fromPinamungajan proper, I will be showing you some scenic and cinematic shots of the town. This includes the municipal hall, public market, Sta. Monica Parish and the town's plaza. Enjoy this video mga Igsoon! I guarantee you will be entertained.

Man made forest of Cebu
Not too many people, even the Cebuanos, know Cebu has its own Man-Made Forest in the town of Minglanilla, Southern Cebu. It surely is not a rip-off of Bohol’s, as it has been around for over 100 years now since January 13, 1916 (the OLDEST in the country!) and has not really been marketed as a tourist attraction.
It is an experimental forest station that covers 2,710 hectares and now a home of many species of trees, plants, birds and insects.

In the hopes of attracting tourism ventures, Naga City has finally opened the Marine Boardwalk, also known as the Naga Boardwalk and Park – a first in the province of Cebu.
The newest attraction graces the shoreline of the industrial city of the south. The P62-million boardwalk, situated just meters away from the Naga City Hall, is still open to the public for free for certain hours of the day.

One of the best places to check out when you are planning to have a family gathering or group getaway is Intosan Resort which is commonly known as Intosan Waterpark. It is located in Taboc, Danao City – approximately one and a half hour travel from the City of Cebu. The place is perfect for the kids and adults who love to swim and enjoy the sun.
Generally, Intosan Resort’s main purpose is to provide great outdoor water park experience to its visitors. There are pools for kids and adults and both have slides. In fact there is a wide selection of slides available. In the three feet children’s pool there are many man-made whales that children will surely enjoy. Also, adults will surely love to swim in the four feet deep pools because of its structure and designs. Aside from the pool, there is also a lazy river and other water attractions.
How to get there:
1. From SM City Cebu terminal, ride a V-hire going to Danao. (P50.00 )
2. Drop off to Terminal Gaisano and ride habal habal (motorcycle) going to Intosan Waterpark resort P20.00

We are done swimming with the whale sharks, and rinsing off the fish guts, which were the feed for the whale sharks,
check out our previous vlog to watch us swim with these majestic creatures of the ocean..
but when we get to the car... it wouldn't start, after a moment of panic, we asked around and we found a mechanic within 15 minutes.
He gave us a jump start, we paid him 60 pesos which is about $1.18, and we were on our way to Kawasan falls, but it was getting late, and we were afraid that by the time we got to the falls, it would be busied with tourists and we wouldn't enjoy it as much.
Miyuki, in the meantime, started researching and found a waterfall a little closer by that she thought might be even better, so we set out on an adventure to find these falls, and as soon as we started the incline up the mountain, we realized why this place was less frequented by tourists, it was not easy to get to, and a tour bus would be impossible.. the good news is that it looks like they are trying to pave roads to get there, but for the most part, it was unfinished and no one was working on the roads, in fact, apart from a few motorbikes, we were the only motor vehicle on the road for very many hours.
when we got to the falls, we paid 10 pesos to park the car, and we hired some guides to take us up to the falls, they asked for 100 pesos each, but in the end we gave them both 500 pesos
a good half hour hike, feeling the burn in our legs, and it was the hottest part of the day, so we were really hot.. surely no falls would be worth this right?
but oh my gosh was it worth it.
we had the falls entirely to ourselves, and we spent hours swimming in these crystal clear, Gatorade color pools and were able to swim up to the falls and behind it, exploring all the little caves.. it felt like magic being in the middle of the jungle with no one else around, this was an amazing experience, and we highly recommend renting a scooter/motorbike, a car or private driver with car to try and get to the falls.
when driving back, we passed by Kawasan falls, and we tried going up to it, but there were so many crowds of tourists, that it wasn't worth our time to fight the battle of crowds, and it was getting pretty late, and it would be turning dark soon, so we headed back to cebu city.
we encountered an accident getting into the city and we made it back to the airbnb by 11pm, this concluded our 18 hour day trip, and we were ready to hit the bed and sleep. sorry for not closing the vlog out, but we were knackered
