ONE DAY IN MOSTAR (BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA) | 4K 60FPS | Amazing sights of a perfect day
Mostar, picturesquely situated in the valley of the Neretva River, is the fifth largest city in Bosnia-Herzegovina with a population of just over 113,000 and historically the capital of Herzegovina.
The city's most famous landmark is the Old Bridge, the Stari Most, historically considered a symbol of the union between Christianity and Islam. Built in 1566, the bridge was destroyed in the Bosnian war in 1993 and rebuilt after the war. It is considered a protected cultural asset and has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2005 as a symbol of reconciliation and international and intercultural cooperation.
But Mostar has much much more to offer, and as always I tried to capture all my impressions with my camera. The city impressed me so much that I dedicated my longest video to it so far.

Taking A BUS From Banja Luka to SARAJEVO!????????
We took a bus from Banja Luka to Sarajevo and got stranded...

This was probably the most stressful travel day we've had since we started this journey. There were lessons learned & certainly memories made, but thankfully everything worked out in the end.
We began by waking up and saying good-bye to our amazing Airbnb in Banja Luka. We absolutely loved our time in Banja Luka, but it was definitely time for us to go see the beautiful capital city of Sarajevo. We made our way about a mile and a half to the Banja Luka bus station where we waited for a couple of hours. From there we hopped on our bus headed for the town of Donji Vakuf.
The ride to Donji Vakuf took around two hours. It was UNBELIEVABLY picturesque, but sitting in the back of the bus gave us some pretty serious motion sickness. After a little while we hopped off the bus in Donji Vakuf where we began the wait for our second bus, which would never come...
Our time in Donji Vakuf was pretty stressful. We had an hour and a half wait between buses so we took that time to catch up on plans & just chat. The bus station was VERY old & nobody spoke English which is TOTALLY understandable, but was also something that made things a bit more difficult. When the time came for us to catch our next bus, we were surprised to see that it was nowhere in sight.
10 minutes turned into 30 minutes. 30 minutes turned into an hour. One hour turned into an hour and a half. Bus after bus came through but none of them were ours. By this time we had no idea when our bus would arrive and had to make a decision. Do we continue to wait, or do we book one of the local buses that could take us to Sarajevo? After over an hour and a half, we bought new tickets and hopped on the local bus.
The driver of the local bus made our journey extremely comfortable. He was so friendly and gave us all kinds of recommendations. We sat in the front with him and talked about where we were from, where he lived, and what brought us to Bosnia. It was really a great experience. After a few more stops and about two hours we arrived in Bosnia's capital of Sarajevo!
We got off the bus and after being really priced out of a taxi, we made the decision to walk the rest of the way from the bus station to our Airbnb. This day was extremely stressful, but one that we definitely learned a lot from.

At the end of the 19th century in the Gospodska Street (the Street of Veselin Masleša) a line of Neo-Renaissance buildings was raised, and later on a building with stylistic elements of secession, with rich decoration on the wreaths, around the windows and balconies and decorative towers on the edges, making the representative walking zone in the center of the city. Nacionalni park Kozara, turistički obilazak i šetnja, septembar 2020.
Kozara je planina koja se nalazi između rijeka Sava i Vrbas. Proglašena je Nacionalnim parkom 1967. godine. Nalazi se na teritoriji opština Novi Grad, Kostajnica, Kozarska Dubica, Gradiška, Laktaši i Gradova Banja Luka i Prijedor. Centralni turistički lokalitet na Kozari je Mrakovica, gdje je napravljen Spomenik slobodi (rad Dušana Džamonje). Spomenik je izgrađen u znak sjećanja na preko 10.000 stanovnika okolnih mjesta koji su ubijeni na Kozari 1942. godine, od strane nacista. Na Kozari postoje brojni sadržaji poput edukativne staze, trim staze, skijališta...

Kozara is a mountain located between the rivers Sava and Vrbas. It was declared a National Park in 1967. 12 HOUR TRAVEL DAY TO TUSCANY, ITALY (Banja Luka to Arezzo)
Today we take a flight, a few busses and a longer than expected train that will carry us from Banja Luka, Bosnia, all the way to Arezzo in Italy.
After asking the tourist information in Banja Luka we were told about a transfer from Banja Luka to Banja Luka airport which didn't exist in the online world. From there we caught a Ryan air flight into the Milan Bergamo airport and found a transfer to Milan centrale before hopping on our final train.. which was late. BUT did take us to Arezzo in time for a final dash to our accommodation before check in closed.
Standard stressful travel day, cutting it close!
