2021. Augusztus - Hungary - Felsőpakonytól-Dabasig elővárosi vonattal
A Budapest–Lajosmizse-Kecskemét vasútvonal a MÁV 142-es számú vasútvonala, zömében egyvágányú és nem villamosított, állomásközi közlekedésre berendezett vasúti mellékvonala. Kezdőpontja a Nyugati pályaudvar. Wikipédia

Sightseeing around Kecskemét
Once school finished in Debrecen, we travelled south and west for a week's holiday (szabadság). For the first two days we were based at famous city of Kecskemét (híres város as the Petőfi Sándor poem says).
Like many towns in the region (such as Kiskunfélegyháza also on this clip) it has beautifully coloured tiled roofs, extensive public art works, and human scaled buildings and outdoor spaces.
The clip also includes Csongrád (where we finally saw some swallows (fecske) – which are less common with the mosquito control) and Dunaföldvár which was my first view of the Danube this trip.
I've pulled the Kurultáj clips out into their own video ( for those with a limited patience for horses and yurts.

M44 autópálya Lakitelek ➽ Tiszakürt átadás után 3 nappal - Tiszaugi híd 4K
A gyorsforgalmi út megépítése nagymértékben javítja majd a dél-keleti országrész elérhetőségét, és biztosítja Békéscsaba magas színvonalú bekötését. A Lakitelek és Tiszakürt közötti szakasz átadásával Bács-Kiskun megyétől a Viharsarokig már közel 90 kilométer készült el az M44-ből.
2019 októbere óta járható az M44 gyorsforgalmi út leghosszabb szakasza (61,5 km) Tiszakürt és Kondoros között. 2020 decemberében adtuk át a Kondoros-Békéscsaba közötti szakaszt (17,6 km) az autósoknak. Majdnem napra pontosan egy év telt el, és most egy újabb rész készült el az M44-ből Lakitelektől Tiszakürtig. A 10 kilométeres szakaszon 22,5 méter koronaszélességű, 2×2 forgalmi sávos, leállósáv nélküli autóút épült.
A projekt leglátványosabb eleme az új Tiszaugi híd, amely hazánk negyedik négysávos közúti Tisza-hídja. A híd teljes hossza 556 méter, ebből a mederhíd hossza 307 méter, középső támaszköze 152 méter. Az ellipszis kapuzat miatt a híd szerkezete Európában egyedülálló.

Hello and welcome to another trip report!
Today we will be travelling with the Hungarian state railway operator MÁV-START. We are taking a single coach Class 117 Bzmot diesel railbus service between the central cities of Kecskemét and Lajosmizse. This is certainly one of the quirkiest and cheapest trains I have ever riden on and one I won't forget in a hurry... either the sights or the smells! Enjoy!

The building of Hungary's law-making body, the House of Parliament, is rightly considered among the most beautiful parliaments buildings in the world. Selected as a World Heritage site as a central element in the Danube panorama in 2011, the edifice is not only an invaluable treasure, but also the pride of the nation. It provides a home for the legislature, a place of safekeeping for the Hungarian Holy Crown, and a workplace both for the 199 Members of Parliament and for the nearly 600 people who assist them. Az épület Bocskai János, keszthelyi építész tervei alapján 3 év alatt készült el, Hévíz városának és polgárainak anyagi támogatásával. A templomot 1999. szeptember 9-én, a városháza avatásával egy napon szentelte fel Szendi József nyugalmazott érsek. A templom hét tornya a Szentlélek hét ajándékát jelképezi.
