Sulzbach Wasserpfad | Lahr | Schwarzwald
Our visit to Sulzbach Wasserpfad just outside Lahr. This is an enjoyable path for the kids, especially for those looking to jump right in. The interactive stations break up the path and add additional fun. Once at the end you can decide whether to take the same path back along the river, or do the round route away from it, as we did.
This path is only passable during the dryer months of the year and can get busy.

Wonderful Village in Southern Germany - Villingen-Schwenningen 4K Ultra HD Footage
Villingen-Schwenningen is a city located in Germany in the southwest of the Land of Baden-Württemberg. With around 81,000 inhabitants, the municipality is the largest in the Black Forest-Baar district.
The particularity of the city lies in the fact that it consists of two entities corresponding to two formerly independent towns, namely Villingen and Schwenningen. The two former municipalities merged in 1972 to become Villingen-Schwenningen. Another particularity is geographical: between the two old towns less than 5 kilometers apart, runs along a north-south axis the watershed between the North Sea (to the north) and the Black Sea (to the east).

The Black Forest is a mountainous region in southwest Germany, Baden-Württemberg bordering France. Known for its dense, evergreen forests and picturesque villages, it is often associated with the Brothers Grimm fairy tales. It's renowned for its spas and the cuckoo clocks produced in the region since the 1700s. The region’s largest town, Freiburg, is filled with Gothic buildings and surrounded by vineyards.
The Mummelsee is a 17-meter-deep lake at the western mountainside of the Hornisgrinde in the Northern Black Forest of Germany. It is very popular with tourists traveling along the Black Forest High Road. According to legends, the lake is inhabited by a Nix and the King of the Mummelsee.

Chrysanthema Lahr - Der Aufbau
Die Besucherinnen und Besucher der Chrysanthema erfreuen sich an den unzähligen Blüten, an den Blumenarrangements, am vielfältigen Kulturprogramm und all den Angeboten in der Stadt.
Aber bis es soweit ist, ist viel Arbeit, Herzblut und Engagement notwendig.
Viele fleißige Hände sind an der Umsetzung des herbstlichen Blumen- und Kulturfestivals Chrysanthema beteiligt.
Wochenlang im Voraus wird geplant, vorbereitet und punktgenau kurz vor dem Start der Chrysanthema die Innenstadt geschmückt, die Königin vorgestellt, die Ausstellungen vorbereitet, Schilder angebracht, die Bühne aufgebaut und vieles mehr.
Ein Blick hinter die Kulissen dieser Zeit, lässt die Vielfalt der Aufgaben erahnen.
