The Gothenburg archipelago consists of over 30 beautiful islands, easily accessible by car or public transport. The archipelago is split into north and south and both with equally stunning and cosy big, or small, islands to explore.
Hönö island lies in the northern archipelago, with Hönö Klåva harbour acting as the island’s main hub. You can get your bearings and a bird’s eye view of Hönö and neighboring islands from Hönö Vattentorn, a water tower and observation deck on Utsiktsvägen, a 10-minute walk north of Hönö Klåva. Or you can simply chill out on Jungfruviken beach, a 25-minute walk from Hönö Klåva and the perfect place for a dip and a picnic.

Es geht weiter die Westküste Richtung Norden. Zunächst besuchen wir den traumhaften Strand von Ängelholm, sind am UFO Monument am Parkplatz Sibirien, fahren weiter in die ältestes Stadt Hallands - Laholm um dann am Ende auf der Göteborger Schäreninsel Fotö zu landen. Wie das alles mit der Fähre klappt und was wir erleben seht ihr in diesem Video.

Hello everyone, today I am sharing a little bit of Halmstad City in Sweden. Halmstad is Sweden's 19th-largest city by population. It is located about midway between Gothenburg and Malmö, along the western coastline of Sweden. The city is pretty normal in this pandemic situation, we can still see some people walking, some people on bike. There are many beautiful buildings in this city. The view of the buildings and the trees in early spring is fantastic.

Wir haben richtig Glück mit dem Wetter und es ist ein halbwegs klarer Nachthimmel vorhergesagt.
Außerdem gibt es heute Nacht eine relativ hohe Sonnenaktivität mit einem KP-Index von 5.
Dadurch kommen wir diese Nacht in den Genuss die ersehnten Nordlichtern am Himmel beobachten zu können.
Dazu haben wir bis tief in die Nacht unzählige Stunden draußen in der Kälte verbracht.
Die Temperaturen sind Richtung 0°C gefallen und wir halten es hier draußen nur mit jeder Menge Wein und einem ganzen Sack Grillkohle in unserem Grill aus.
Der schafft es uns halbwegs aufzuwärmen…..
Aber es hat sich wirklich gelohnt und völlig zufrieden fallen wir gegen 3 Uhr Morgens fertig und durchgefroren ins Bett!

We're really lucky with the weather today and a reasonably clear night sky was predicted.
There is also relatively high solar activity tonight with a KP index of 5.
This will allow us to enjoy the longed-for northern lights in the sky tonight.
We spent countless hours outside in the cold until late at night.
The temperatures have dropped towards 0°C and we can only stand it out here with lots of wine and a whole pack of charcoal in our grill.
He manages to warm us up a little bit.....
But it was really worth it and we fall completely satisfied into bed at around 3 a.m. totally exhausted and frozen to the bone!
