Gramado is small but a beautiful city located in the state of Rio Grande do Sul in the southern Brazil. Most of the international tourists do not know much about this place. If you visit the city, it feels like you are not in Brazil but somewhere in a European country. The weather and the architecture both make your feel that you have suddenly arrived in Europe. Gramado is located on the famous Romantic Route called “Rota Romantica”, which is one of the most scenic routes of Brazil.
Gramado is a very popular holiday destination for Brazilians as they love its cool weather and family friendly activities. Interestingly, most population of Gramado is of German or Italian descent which comprises of around 30% Germans and 30% Italians. There are 30% Portuguese and remaining 10% is a mix of natives, Lebanese and Eastern Europeans. The tourism is the main economy source for the city, although you do not see many international tourists. The city is visited by millions of Brazilians every year. There are many leather shops, wool shops and rugs shop in the city. Most of these shops are settled in old restored houses with lovely gardens and a mix of German, Italian and Portuguese culture. The colonial atmosphere of this picturesque city of Brazil makes it a wonderful attraction for tourists.

Our first stop in Montenegro is the Đurđevića Tara Bridge - one of the most visited and popular attractions in Montenegro. The bridge was once named among the 20 most beautiful bridges in the world and spans the canyon of the river Tara, which at 1333 meters deep, makes it the deepest in Europe. Although the roads in Montenegro can be a challenge for old motorhomes it makes for stunning scenery, and we found a great parking spot inside the Durmitor National Park adjacent to the well-known Black Lake.

In questa tappa affronto una distanza di oltre 100 km con un dislivello di quasi 2000.
Una tappa dove il mantra è stato più che mai PEDALARE, PEDALARE, PEDALARE! ;)
All' arrivo scopro che Potenza con i suoi 819 metri sul livello del mare è il capoluogo di regione piu alto di Italia.

Chi sono
Mi chiamo Marco, sono di Bellaria Igea Marina e sto girando l’ Italia e le sue 20 regioni per l’ iniziativa benefica “Pedalando per l’ Italia” con lo scopo di scoprirla, far conoscere a più persone possibili questo straordinario Paese e per dimostrare che non è necessario andare all’ estero per trovare luoghi unici che ti entrano nel cuore, oltre che a sostenerlo anche economicamente visto che dormirò e mangerò nelle strutture che man mano incontrerò.
Per girare l’ Italia in maniera più sensata e ordinata ho pensato di passare per i 20 capoluoghi di regione: Bologna, Venezia, Trieste, Trento, Milano, Aosta, Torino, Genova, Firenze, Perugia, Roma, Napoli, Cagliari, Palermo, Catanzaro, Potenza, Bari, Campobasso, L'Aquila, Ancona. Non mancherò nel frattempo di fare visita anche ai posti più interessanti che si possono incontrare per strada tra una città e l’ altra.
Durante il viaggio saranno raccolti fondi da donare alla Protezione Civile visto che io faccio parte del Nucleo di Protezione Civile di Bellaria Igea Marina (il Gruppo Sommozzatori “Gigi Tagliani”) e che serviranno anche per la continuazione della mia avventura. Quello che mi preme particolarmente però è sensibilizzare l’ opinione pubblica sul tema del volontariato, nello specifico verso le importantissime attività di Protezione Civile e sono certo che la mia iniziativa riuscirà nell’ intento.

La riserva regionale Lago Laudemio è un'area naturale protetta situata nel comune di Lagonegro, in provincia di Potenza. Si trova sulle pendici del monte Papa ad un'altitudine di 1525 m del Massiccio del Sirino che sovrasta Lagonegro e ricade nel territorio del Parco nazionale dell'Appennino Lucano Val d'Agri Lagonegrese[2]. Il lago da cui prende il nome la riserva è anche noto come Remmo.
